1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [3479].
3. As we find, there are many conditions that are very good. There are others that are producing tendencies and reflexes which are becoming aggravating to the better conditions of the body.
4. These have to do primarily, we find, with the nerve system, and most of the reflexes then are through the incoordination of sympathetic and cerebrospinal systems or of the sympathetic system itself.
5. Then, these are the conditions as we find them with this body, [3479] we are speaking of, present in this room:
6. First, in the blood supply we find those conditions being carried that indicate the aggravations to circulation. These are indicated at times in the circulation in head or scalp, at others even in the feet or the toes - or through various portions of the body, by the irritation, the lack of the proper flow to coordinate eliminations of the used energies in portions of the body.
7. If this were allowed to continue it might bring on a disturbance in hair or in the emunctories, as in those conditions with the mammary glands or with those glands in the groin or in the feet.
8. These are effects, and are the effects of nerve reflexes.
9. Then we have in the nervous system the sources of these disturbances. With the conditions which have existed since childbirth, there are those subluxations and suppressions in the lower dorsal and through the lumbar-sacral area that are the sources of this disorder - as to circulation, so to the activity of the glandular system as related to the periods, or the effect that is produced upon the body is that tending
3479-1 Page 2
towards the nose bleed, tending to the disturbance just before the beginning of the flow. These are the effects, then, sympathetically. These also are the sources of pains or heaviness or discomfort through the small of back and along those areas between the lumbar axis and the 9th dorsal, and even across that area at times, especially if there is walking or standing on the feet; also the tiredness, the languidness at times, and that which makes the body become easily aggravated, or to become - as it were - "on nerves," producing flushes through the body at times.
10. These tend to make for the lack of sufficient blood supply, and the general drain calls for a supplying of nutriments not sufficiently supplied in the diet - or deficiencies in the body of niacin and iron, phosphorous as well as the aid to digestive system. Unless corrected, these will eventually have much to do with a form of disturbance with kidneys and bladder, as well as the greater disturbance in lung area and the liver. For, the pressures are such as to cause an aggravation to the sympathetic nervous reactions.
11. As to the effect upon the organs:
12. These, as indicated, are reflexes; not organic disturbances. For as we find, flexes of brain, even of the sensory system, lung, heart, liver, all of these organically are very good. Functionally the body becomes aware of them at times.
13. Through the pelvic organs the activities are tending to make for adhesions in these areas. It will be well to consider these, then, when the activities are indicated for the corrections through the body; as they form a definite disturbance which necessitates local as well as general applications.
14. In making for betterment:
15. There should be some three, four to six osteopathic adjustments, correctly made, but a long way apart; at least a week to ten days to two weeks apart.
16. And throughout those periods the body should have - preferably at home - the Cabinet Sweats and Fume Baths; using Witchhazel - prepared so that the fumes settle over the varied portions of the body. Such a Fume bath would be taken once or twice a week.
17. follow each Fume Bath with a shower and then a thorough rubdown, using this combination of oils: Olive Oil....................2 ounces, Peanut Oil...................2 ounces, Lanolin (liquefied)........1/4 ounce.
3479-1 Page 3
Massage this thoroughly in the areas along the spine rather than on the spinal column itself; across the diaphragm, under the arms, between the legs - as in the groin, under the knees and the feet. This will relieve the tensions that have been a part of the conditions. Especially the feet should be massaged.
18. As to the character of corrections osteopathically:
19. First there should be the relaxing of the body thoroughly in the cervical and upper dorsal area. Then begin with a relaxing in the lumbar and sacral area, but only every other treatment should there be the attempt for the corrections. For the massages will do as much as the adjustments, yet specific adjustments must be made in the 4th lumbar, the 12th dorsal, and the 9th dorsal; with the upper cervicals each time coordinated, of course; never stimulating, but relaxing. For the body is tending towards a tension, because of the nature of the subluxation as well as the incoordination between sympathetic and cerebrospinal systems.
20. Take KalDak internally to supply the elements needed; for this body a level teaspoonful twice one day and once the next day (morning and evening, when taken twice); dissolved first in a little very hot water, then filling the tumbler with milk. Take it twice one day, once the next. This is good, but you can overdo it - just as you can undersupply.
21. At least twice a week have a vaginal douche using two tablespoonfuls of Glyco-Thymoline to a quart of body-temperature water; only in a Fountain Syringe.
22. Do these and we will bring better conditions for this body.
23. Ready for questions.
24. (Q) What corrections can be made to eliminate constipation and what type of laxative would be suggested? (A) Do these things we have been indicating. The activities of KalDak should be a stimuli for better normal conditions, as well as the massages and corrections. Then change the diet, if further correction is needed in this direction. Occasionally a low enema may be helpful; not high colonics here are necessary, as yet. But enemas are better than laxatives or purgatives.
25. (Q) In what condition are my ears and what steps can I take to prevent poor hearing? (A) Do these things suggested and we will correct these conditions.
26. (Q) Would it be advisable to have wisdom tooth extracted?
3479-1 Page 4
(A) Be very advisable along in February or March; not before.
27. (Q) Are there any cavities under the inlays and could you advise a massage to straighten teeth? (A) Not cavities as yet; there are soft places but not cavities. Use any good massage. The best is an equal combination of soda and salt, occasionally rinsing with Ipana or Ipsab as a stimuli to the gums. This should be massaged on the gums rather than the teeth - that is, the Ipsab.
28. (Q) Comment and advise on the condition of my eyes and use of my glasses. (A) If you will do these things indicated you shouldn't use glasses for at least seven to eight years yet!
29. (Q) What causes occasional pain in the left temple? (A) Haven't we been describing the areas from which such symptoms arise? Do the things indicated!
30. (Q) What cold or tissue cream would be best to eliminate large pores and blackheads? (A) The better method is to use the type of massage with the oils indicated, and then use the Black and White Cream - Genuine Black and White products.
31. (Q) Please help and guide me concerning the advisability of having another child. (A) Do not as yet. Better be well before you do, else you will never be well again! [See 3479-2, Par. 28 predicting a son.]
32. (Q) Any other mental or spiritual advice? (A) Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman not ashamed; making correct emphasis upon all phases of the relationships with those about thee - those ye like as well as those ye hate. For those ye dislike are the ones to whom you owe the most - don't forget it!
