1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here. As we find, there are disturbing conditions with this body, [3494].

3. These have to do with an infection in the pulmonary and the bronchi area. There is quite an activity in portions of the lungs at the present time.

4. The blood supply indicates the inability of the blood to be oxygenized through the lungs. This lack of oxygen takes from the body those abilities to build sufficient resistance to carbonize the cells in the blood supply, or the leukocytes, and reduces the lymph - that aids in same - to such an extent as to keep constantly a superacid condition through the system.

5. The active forces of the tubercular nature destroy tissue, and this has to be carried through the system for elimination. Thus the conditions that gently, slowly, arise in the intestinal tract, the liver and the kidneys. These, through the temperature that is experienced at times now, are beginning to cause some anxiety. For, with the excess acidity, with the increased amount of drosses or toxic conditions to be eliminated, a great strain is produced upon both the kidneys and the liver circulation.

6. The tubercular activity is more in the lung tissue, though the strain on bronchi is the source from which the bleeding is occurring. This is more from the trachea and bronchial tubes, and not the lung itself.

7. We find that these conditions may be materially aided. It will require care, attention, persistency, and consistency in certain activities.

8. Here we find that a change of environment would be most

helpful; to such activities where there would be mountains, the pines and open spaces - such as may be obtained near Asheville, North Carolina. These would be most helpful for the body - as soon as it can be arranged.

9. In preparing the body for such changes, we find that certain conditions would be necessary. The inhaling of the fumes from this compound will allay coughing, will allay conditions in lungs, will give strength to the body; but this must not be attempted to be kept up too long. For this is only for temporary relief, until changes can be made:

10. Put a teaspoonful of Compound Tincture of Benzoin and a teaspoonful of Oil of Eucalyptus in half a pint of water boiling in either a croup cup or an open container. Cover the whole head, or let it be under a sheet, and inhale these fumes. It will pick the body up. It will prepare the body for the changes - giving sufficient strength for the few days required for the transfer, when arrangements are made for such a place. This should not be in a hospital but in a home or in one of the housing places prepared in this section of the country, where there may be plenty of open air, close to pines growing, and growing things, and where there may be plenty of good fried chicken and milk directly from the cow. The milk should be taken with the animal heat still in same, all the body is able to drink.

11. Also prepare for the body a charred oak keg, with two vents that may be used, one for the air and one for inhaling fumes from pure Apple Brandy. This is not to be Applejack, but the redistilled Apple Brandy. This should be kept near a radiator or a stove, so that evaporation takes place, so that the body may inhale the gases into the throat and lungs. Occasionally let a little of the fumes be swallowed. Do not undertake too many whiffs of this in the beginning - once or twice would be sufficient - about two or three times a day. This will act as an antiseptic and also will be healing for the conditions in the bronchi and lungs.

12. Also have prepared another inhalant in an eight ounce, large mouth bottle, so that two vents may be put in the cork and kept closed when not in use, for the evaporation would destroy or change the character of the solution. Add these ingredients in the order named: Pure Grain Alcohol (100 to 110% proof).....4 ounces, Oil of Eucalyptus.........................30 minims, Rectified Oil of Turp.....................10 minims, Compound Tincture of Benzoin..............20 minims, Rectified Creosote.........................3 minims, Tolu in Solution..........................20 minims.

13. When this is to be used, shake the solution, remove both small corks, and inhale the fumes through the nostrils - first one side, then the other - once or twice - and then deep into the throat. These fumes are NOT to be swallowed, but only breathed into the trachea and bronchi and lungs. These will heal, but it will be harmful to swallow the gases or fumes from these. The shaking of the solution causes the gases to form that are the healing forces.

14. Now the diet: As indicated, have plenty of fried chicken - or it may be smothered. Do eat the bony pieces, especially the feet, the carcass and the neck and the head. Chew the bones. Always prepare these of small chickens, not using the pieces of the breast or the thigh but the carcass, the neck, the feet and the head, chewing the bones of these. Calcium is needed, and the body will assimilate from these that needed for the blood supply as well as for the digestive forces - that will act with the inhalants indicated.

15. Drink plenty of water.

16. Occasionally prepare egg in spiritus frumenti. Cook the egg by dropping the whiskey on same, and then add milk. Then nutmeg mixed with same will be helpful. DO NOT use the white of the egg but only the yolk. This given daily will produce strength.

17. Keep in the open as much as possible through the day, but stay in close during the evenings - but have plenty of air. In ventilating the room, do have the top and bottom both open; not just at the top or at the bottom - for the room should be well ventilated for this body.

18. Do have grain alcohol rubs (not rub alcohol, but grain alcohol) along the spine, across the hips and the limbs.

19. Do these and we will find better conditions for this body.

20. Ready for questions.

21. DO NOT operate! DO NOT give the gas in the lungs!
