Time of Reading 3:45 to 4:05 P. M. Eastern War Time. ..., Va.
1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [3532].
3. As we find, there are disturbing conditions causing reactions that are detrimental to the better physical functioning of the organs of the body. These involve the central circulation - heart, lungs, liver and kidneys, as well as the unbalanced condition that has been produced between eliminations in the body - the organs involved not distributing properly the toxic poisons and the superficial circulation attempting to eliminate them.
4. Thus we have an accumulation and a segregation that is indicated in the place on the side or in the front of the head. Sooner or later this will have to be removed, but before doing so we would prepare the body.
5. First, then, there should be the setting up of better eliminations so as to produce coordination in activity of lungs, heart, liver and kidneys; all of these organs being taken into consideration as the poisons are eliminated. This will alleviate the distresses in the region of the heart at times, because these come more from a plethoric condition in the transverse and descending colon than from the organ itself, though the involvement is also from the disturbed nervous circulation to the organs indicated.
6. And this disturbed circulation arises from a subluxation in the 3rd and 4th dorsal.
7. Hence the pain at times through the upper portion of the lung, under the shoulder blade, the arm, the lower limbs, thighs, knees, feet. All of these receive the effect of this pressure upon the superficial circulation, that is through this radiation or pressure slow in the return - or
3532-1 Page 2
the vein circulation; producing an irregularity to heart or to pulsation, and a variation in blood pressure.
8. These we would aid, then, by first setting up better eliminations. This we would do by hydrotherapy, including colonic irrigations carefully and scientifically given to alleviate the pressure in the colon area. There should be at least three to four of these, ten to twelve to fifteen days apart.
9. During that same period there should be taken internally those properties that, while not laxative, will change the whole vibrations and the activity of heart, lungs, liver and kidneys, aiding them to come to a better balance in their activity; at the same time aiding those elements that are necessary in the lymph circulation.
10. These may be found in Mullein Tea; about two ounces each day. Prepare this fresh at least every other day. Pour a pint of boiling water over two ounces (by weight) of the Mullein, and let this steep for at least thirty-five to forty minutes. Strain, cool, and take two ounces that day and two ounces the next; but make fresh on the third day - keeping it in the ice box, of course, even for the one day that it is saved.
11. The hydrotherapy, besides the colonic irrigations, should include a hot cabinet bath using the fumes of Witchhazel; followed by a thorough massage of feet, ankles, limbs, then the back - across the sacral and lumbar areas, along the whole spine, and also the diaphragm, shoulders, neck and arms. These Fume Baths should be given about once each week. Each time give the massage afterward, using this combination of oils; added in the order named: Nujol as the base...............4 ounces, Olive Oil.......................1 ounce, Peanut Oil....................1/2 ounce, Lanolin (liquefied)...........1/4 ounce, Oil of Pine Needles.............1 ounce. Shake these together, pour a small quantity into an open saucer, dip the fingers in same and massage. Do not pour from the bottle into the hand, and do not pour the quantity back into the bottle if there should be any left when the body has absorbed all that it will from the massage.
12. As an ointment for the place on the head, we would prepare Plantain Cream. Cut the green Plantain, the tender shoots; cut in fine pieces, as with the scissors or the like, and fill - by measurement - a two ounce container; not pressed too tight but pressed in. Then to this add, in an

enamel or glass boiler, the same quantity of thick fresh cream - not sour cream, but that settling on the top of milk. Let this come to a boil. Skim, and set aside. Use this as an ointment on the head. This will heal, yet will not cause other than segregation, and - with the properties taken internally as indicated - when the operation is necessary, the place will be able to heal clear, clean, and not cause deterioration through other portions of the body. For this is of a stony nature internally.
13. These do.
14. In the diet often have raw vegetables, especially water cress and celery, and all of the vegetables that may be well combined in a salad. These at times prepared with gelatin will be well to give strength to the muscular forces of body.
15. Keep away from red meats. Take fish, fowl and lamb occasionally, but none fried.
16. No chocolate. No carbonated waters.
17. These do, and we will have better conditions for the body.
18. Ready for questions.
19. (Q) Just what is the condition of the heart? (A) As indicated, the greater part of the irregularity is produced by pressure in colon; though this is a part of the general disturbance in the circulation between liver, lungs, heart and kidneys. When there is good activity of the kidneys and good elimination, the shortness of breath, the irregularity and the pressure doesn't disturb so much. Hence the type of application indicated, and the type of properties to be taken - these all work together for better eliminations. Do all of those things suggested, or don't do any of them.
20. (Q) Where could she get a set of teeth that she could comfortably use? (A) These may be prepared by a good dentist. As we find, they might be made by any of those even that are sometimes called not the best. (United Dentists?)
21. (Q) Would it be advisable to move at the present time? (A) This depends upon a great many conditions. Yes, in the general it would be very advisable.
