Time of Reading 11:25 to 11:35 A. M. Eastern War Time. St. Louis, Missouri.
1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body, answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Jefferson Avenue - that's a wide street! - he's a doctor!
3. We have the body here, [3559].
4. In analyzing the disturbances which exist here, it would be well for the body to analyze much of its attitude that has been overcome - in a measure. It will find that these conditions are apparent.
5. While the body has been and is a very good anatomist, the body has found and does find impulses received through the mind and through the radiation of vibration or environment have often had much to do with the manner in which an organ, a nerve, a gland will respond to stimulations made from the administration of many characters of combinations of drugs or even mechanical applications. They do not respond the same under some conditions as under others. Why?
6. There is body, there is mind, there is soul. They each have their attributes, they each have their limitations. The soul, in a material world, is controlled by mind and body.
7. Then, these all should be taken into consideration. When the body will interpret, will see how that resentments that have been a part of the experience of the entity through periods of its development have had their influence. Yes, these were brought from other experiences also. Much has been done about it, and thus much may be done about these conditions - if there will be the correct attitude of the body in making application of certain elements as to coordinate with the disturbance existent in the body.

8. These, then, are conditions physical - or pathological - as we find:
9. Through lack of proper eliminations there has been gradually builded such poisons or toxic conditions as to change the chemical reactions making for a lack of proper coordination between lymph circulation and the alimentary canal. Thus in segments and in muscular forces we find that poisons have crystallized, causing neuritic and arthritic pressures in the nerves and tendons of the body.
10. The body has become stiff through the lumbar and sacral areas, so that the legs, knees, feet, and arms all suffer - as these are, as it were, the far ends of the circulation.
11. The heart changes in its beat. Remember, the things you applied once - now you are meeting them! Live with this in mind (and every soul may take heed): YE SHALL PAY EVERY WHIT, THAT YE BREAK OF THE LAW OF THE LORD. For the law of the Lord is perfect; it converteth the soul. It doesn't always convert a hardheaded man nor a body that is beset with habits that have left their mark upon those portions of the body through which mind and soul may work. What are these?
12. Nerve and blood forces of the body! The heart, that is the engine of the body itself.
13. But turn thy thoughts and thy mind more earnestly to the divine that is within self. And know that He meant what He said, "If ye ask in my name, believing it will be done in your body." He meant it! Then DO it!
14. Physically make these characters of external applications, that may - with the mind - change much:
15. Apply Epsom Salts Packs across the sacral and hips, especially, for an hour at a time, as hot as the body can stand them, changing them at least two or three times during the hour. This should be a daily procedure.
16. Following this massage the whole area with this combination of oils: Olive Oil....................2 ounces, Peanut Oil...................2 ounces, Lanolin (liquefied)........1/4 ounce. As soon as the body has absorbed as much of these oils as it will from the massage, then apply over the same area Glyco-Thymoline Packs. Use four to five thicknesses of cloth saturated in the Glyco-Thymoline. And instead of using an electric pad over these Packs, use a pad of heated salt. Quilt about an inch of salt in a pad, warm in the oven and apply, covering the area without becoming clogged or in

one lump. Keep these up daily.
17. Twice a day take three to four drops of Glyco-Thymoline internally, in half a glass of water.
18. Have good massages regularly in the form of the Swedish massage and rubdown with Pine Oil.
19. Do these and we will get results, if the attitude is right.
20. Ready for questions.
21. We are through with this Reading. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file " " Miss Goodall for indexing (See directions [which were enclosed] for preparing Epsom Salts Packs and Glyco-Thymoline Packs.)
