Time of Reading At home ..., 11:05 to 11:20 A. M. Eastern War Time. Washington, D.C.
1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have those conditions that are a part of the physical disturbances with this body, [3598].
3. As we find, there are definite disturbances with the functioning in the digestive system, that unless corrected may bring about disturbances hard to deal with. Should there be an excess of congestion or infection that would find lodgment in those areas of the digestive system, it would further disturb the equilibrium that is already in disorder through the activities of the hypogastric and pneumogastric reactions - owing to a pressure in the 5th and 6th dorsal centers that causes an excess of activities in the glandular forces associated with the upper portion of the duodenum and the pyloric portion of the stomach. Thus we have regurgitation of the acids in the system.
4. These are gradually causing lack of proper assimilation through the activity in the duodenum. Thus disturbances and disorders are caused at times in portions of the alimentary canal.
5. Then, there is the lack of proper eliminations from the colon itself.
6. Organically we do not find great disorders, though - owing to this disturbance - there are headaches, acidity in the stomach, at times improper flow of the bile duct and the activity of the pancreas and spleen to digestive juices for the body.
7. As we find, in making corrections, we would first have at least eight to ten adjustments osteopathically, with particular reference to the areas indicated. These should be regular adjustments in this particular area, but it will
3598-1 Page 2
require at least eight to ten for this to be set perfectly normal here.
8. It would be very well to measure with the instrument used by others who make similar corrective treatment, but do have these made osteopathically after there has been the locating of those areas needing correction - the 6th, 7th and 5th dorsals with the 3rd cervical, 9th dorsal and lumbar axis.
9. For the conditions in the digestive system, take charcoal tablets prepared with honey, as put out by Kellogg. Take one a day until there is a better reaction of the acidity.
10. Also each day take five drops of Glyco-Thymoline in a little water. Continue this until the odor of same may be detected in the stool.
11. Do these and we will make for much better conditions. Through the corrections we will find better associations or coordinations between the cerebrospinal and sympathetic system, the headaches should be reduced, the trouble with the eyes and conditions in the soft tissue of throat and palate will be materially aided.
12. These, as we find, are conditions to be helped.
13. The palate and gums will also be much improved with these corrections. Do use Ipsab as a massage for the gums and it will make a great deal of difference with the teeth, the breath and the general activity.
14. There needs to be some local attention to the teeth by the dentist. Do not remove these except those that are beyond repair. It may be necessary to take out one, but not others.
15. Ready for questions.
16. (Q) How check the overabundance of acid? (A) With the use of the charcoal and the correction of impulses causing this overacid, there should be the preventing of this regurgitation. Do as outlined and we should have much better conditions.
