Time of Reading 11:00 to 11:10 A. M. Eastern War Time. Albany, New York.
1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes - familiar place! [Because it's where Dillmans lived a while and had readings - same apartment building?]
3. We have the body here [3604] - as we find, there are disturbances that may become quite serious unless measures are taken to correct the disorders which have been produced by the acids taken into the stomach, that have caused a caking in the pyloric portion of the stomach. At times when there is the cycle of rejuvenation of those portions of same, this causes the great distresses.
4. While there are not indications of any great disturbance, if observed very closely by the x-ray there may be seen the thickening of the wall of the pyloric portion of the stomach, on the inner and under side of the pylorus.
5. Then, in making corrections here, to be sure, precautions must be taken as to the diet. Not too much of any liquids or semi-liquids; eat that which has been found to be easily digested with the character of the lactics and the digestive fluids of the stomach. Vary these, but the body, with sufficient experience should follow very closely what has been the experience.
6. Begin, for corrections, in this manner:
7. Do have osteopathic adjustments. Go down here next door to Pike, and have these of the nature that are simply relaxing; not stimulating, but so as to assist in emptying the stomach and duodenum. Thus the centers in the 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th dorsals are to receive particular attention, though all the segments along the whole length of the spine should be included in relaxing the body.
3604-1 Page 2
8. Also prepare the Wet Cell Appliance, but in a little different manner. Use the regular strength charge, but both of the wires are to be attached to one plate - this plate to be of nickel and medium size, a size between that of the copper plate and the larger plate usually used on the umbilical plexus.
9. Keep this on daily for at least twenty to thirty minutes. The one plate would be attached to the 9th dorsal, and the feet would be put in warm water. Better take off your shoes and socks, to be sure! But put the feet in warm salt water, not too salty, but salt water.
10. It will be necessary to recharge the Appliance every thirty days. Each time when removing the Appliance from the body, disconnect the lead wires from the Appliance.
11. The Appliance treatment should be followed with a massage over the abdomen area, over the liver, across the whole diaphragm, even up to the cardiac portion of the stomach; using Pine Oil - not too heavy but Pine Oil.
12. Do these and we will make for better conditions of the body.
13. Ready for questions.
14. (Q) Is this condition of long standing? (A) It's been some little time back. Some very strong medicine was once given the body when young.
15. (Q) Could a diet list be given? (A) As indicated, follow the diets that have been indicated by the experience of the body as being the best. Change these according to the corrections, as will be found by experience.
16. We are through with this reading. Two copies to Self (one for Dr. John R. Pike) Copy to Ass'n file (See extra sheet [which was enclosed] of directions to be sent to Mr. A. M. Godfrey, for preparing the Wet Cell Appliance to be used in your individual case. Also article explaining theory of this Appliance.)
