Time of Reading 3:45 to 3:55 P. M. Eastern War Time. ..., Colorado.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [3706].

3. As we find there are disturbances which prevent the better physical functioning in the body. While these do not become so acute as to prevent the body's activity, they do cause a continual nervous strain on the body as to produce not only anxiety but often a great deal of distress through portions of the alimentary canal.

4. For as we find there are the tendencies in the areas of the caecum where the jejunum as it empties into the colon, becomes somewhat irritated.

5. In the cerebrospinal areas - 6th, 7th and 8th dorsal - there are those tendencies for the lack of proper circulation or stimulation from the nerve plexus there as well as from the sympathetic areas to supply sufficient flow through the area. These come from a hitch and from a period some time back when there were muscular contractions in the body from an excess of poisons that came from the improper flow of the kidneys. Thus a form of rheumatic reaction or the excess of certain characters of acids in the circulation and in the body energies.

6. These need to be stimulated to activity. Before attempting to make corrections we would apply through the area the hot Glyco-Thymoline Packs just as hot as the body can well stand in the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th and 9th dorsal area. Then make the corrections.

7. Also when there are distresses, or of evening when the body is ready to retire, at least twice or three times a week apply over the abdominal area the Glyco-Thymoline Packs. These properties will be penetrating and alkaline-producing from the reactions of absorption.

8. Take internally a few drops of Glyco-Thymoline daily. This will also supply better activity for the kidneys. Take five to six drops in water once each day.

9. Also for the kidneys, rather than Spirits of Nitre, we would supply the form of Nitre that may be had by the use of watermelon seed tea, taken two to three times a week. Crush or grind a teaspoonful of watermelon seed and put in a cup, filling the cup with boiling water. Let this stand for twenty to thirty minutes. Strain and drink two or three times a week.

10. In the diet do add more of the raw, green vegetables regularly, preparing them in various ways - sometimes with mayonnaise, other times with gelatin. The reaction of the gelatin in the system will be very good.

11. Do these things consistently, persistently and we will make for better conditions for this body.

12. Ready for questions.

13. (Q) How stop the high singing noise in my ears? (A) When we have corrected the conditions with kidneys so that the corrections may be made osteopathically, we will find that this will be overcome. Not only are the corrections specifically to be made in the 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th dorsal but the lumbar area, the upper dorsal and cervical areas are to be coordinated with the corrections made there. These will change the whole vibrations of the body. Do that.

14. (Q) Will this treatment correct the constriction in the intestines? (A) As indicated these are the measures to take to correct the general conditions throughout the body.

15. We are through with this reading. Two copies to Self (one for the osteopath - Please let us have the name and address of the one you choose.) Copy to Ass'n file (3/17/44 GD's note: See directions [which were enclosed] for preparing Glyco-Thymoline Packs.)
