Time of Reading 3:20 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here - this we have had before. Now, we find there are considerable improvements in the physical forces of the body at present from that as we have had here before. In that as necessary for the continued improvement there should be little more consistent application of some conditions as were given for correction, and those added that - under the different and varying circumstance of the body in the present - will add to the efficiency of the physical reactions in the body. There is seen the difference in the ability of the body's being able to rest, that relaxation which is so necessary in the nerve system, which means the ability of the body to rebuild through nature's channels, nature's storehouse. This is the reaction from the use of the pad, with the manipulations. As is seen, then, this portion should still be adhered to.

2. As to those properties taken for the mucus producing portions in system, and the acidity as occurs in the lower portion of digestion and in the upper portion of colon, these need more consistent use. Use the elm water more sparingly. Add the Yellow Saffron in the drinking water occasionally, and also use those of a more alkaline nature as will cleanse the system from conditions as have now been reached by these portions of the system. For this we would take then, occasionally (not EVERY day, but sufficiently often that there may be kept the nearer normal balance in the system), those properties of Milk of Magnesia. Take at least tablespoonful at each dose. Not necessary that more be taken. May only be taken oftener should acidity, or dryness of mouth, burning of the stomach insist or come on the system. This, as will be found, will keep nearer the normal balance. Also well that the lithia be taken occasionally.

3. Now, as to occasionally - and what these properties mean for the system: In taking the elm, this in its active principle for THIS system adds to the alkaline reaction from

3717-2 Page 2

the salivary glands to action of the cardiac portion of stomach. The Yellow Saffron reduces the hydro-chloric reaction in stomach proper. The lithia adds to the efficiency of the active forces necessary through the lower hepatic circulation, clarifying and relieving kidneys from the distresses as would be caused by and under active principle. Now the added force in the Magnesia is to sweeten the condition in the duodenum and in the jejunum in its reaction in the system, or so that in the action of foods in system will bring the nearer normal assimilation and the eliminations for the body.

4. In the keeping up of manipulations (and these should be consistent with the conditions existent in the lumbar and lower dorsal region, as WELL as that of keeping the normal reaction between the central nervous system and that of the sensory system, or the flow of blood and nerve reaction to the head), this will assist in keeping the nearer normal condition for the body. The adjustments in cervical, especially in the 4th and 5th cervical centers, are necessary for conditions in eyes and face that cause distress at times, and will add to the efficiency of reaction.

5. In the diet, this has been adhered to near nominally. Keep those, then, that will give the proper or better reaction for the body. To set a set rule is to bring the wrong reflexes for the system. Try, as it were, those things that are best for conditions, following the general line as has been given. When it is found that beans disagree, eat no more beans until those conditions have been removed from system by the nominal reaction of the balance kept in the system from acid and non-acid conditions. Following these in the general manner, we will bring soon the near normal forces for this body, Bishop [3717]. Ready for questions.

6. (Q) Is the body taking the right exercise? (A) The body has in a manner taken the right exercise. This may be overdone or underdone. In the changes as are to come with the body, keep a more NOMINAL exercise, in keeping with that necessary for the mental and physical expansion the body makes.

7. (Q) Why the dryness in the throat? (A) That as has been given, as we find, an OVER activity of that which will produce the condition should bring the activity of the salivary gland. It will also, with an over quantity, bring the opposite effect upon the system. Hence when there is added those conditions that will act both with the glands of the mouth, throat, and will also act with

3717-2 Page 3

those gastric juices of the stomach, we will find this condition will be reduced.

8. (Q) Is there anything the matter with the eyes? Do they need attention? If so, what? (A) That as has been indicated, through pressure as is being caused in the cervical region. With the removal of this there will be less trouble with the eyes. With the added condition, when the eyes burn of evening, especially when used, on retiring, were there first applied a weak solution as an antiseptic to bathe the eyes, or warm salt water - then that of scraped Irish potato as a pad or bandage over the eyes, as they are closed, and this cleansed of morning, or during the evening if the body arises in the evening - and these will be found to be helpful in removing the inflammation as tends to occur, but MOSTLY this correction may be made through the manipulation in the cervical region. Glasses as are necessary at times for the body, the old ones will be found better than those new ones.

9. (Q) Is the body eating enough? (A) Best that the system become near equalized before there is the attempt to add more flesh, or the added necessary forces for an increase in the weight. There will come, with the nearer nominal condition of assimilation and elimination, the weight that is due to be added to the system - and which will come, see?

10. (Q) In living alone, am I living in the wisest way? (A) There comes many various phases in the development of the body, mentally and spiritually, through this manner; yet there is the lack of companion that gives or brings a dissatisfied feeling in a portion of the body's reactions. This, then, must be judged by the self, as to whether that most necessary is the mental and soul development for the body, or that which may be made moderated with the conditions as are presented by the varying surroundings. As WE would find, with the added contacts that may be brought by the change in the surroundings, this will bring the better development than other changes that might be brought about.

11. (Q) Explain more fully, in a manner understandable to the body, just what is meant by the changes? (A) That those contemplated changes in the surroundings and in the associations would be advisable for the best development of the body, see? for, as given, while the conditions as have existed present that which is well in some directions, there is left that void which is not satisfied. The changes that are contemplated will bring about, then, those that will be WELL in answering,

fulfilling, and bringing about the whole or ONENESS of a developed body, mentally, physically, spiritually. Keep the body fit, for through same much may be given to others that will bring many closer in accord with the oneness of purpose in creative forces. We are through for the present.
