1. EC: We have the body here. Now, we find there are those conditions of which the body should be warned, as well as conditions as must be corrected. These, as we find, have to do principally with the nerve system and the effect the disturbance has and does produce upon the general system and the organs specific in their functioning.

2. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [3742] we are speaking of, present in this room.

3. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, we find this disturbed in the character of the circulation, rather than in the constituents or elements in the blood stream themselves, though at times this also produces that as is seen that causes irritation in the capillary circulation. This the system attempting to adjust itself to the conditions as become existent through that of the pressure produced in the cerebrospinal nervous system. As is seen, also disturbances in the nerve system cause the repressions as occur in the system as related to the functioning of the sympathetic nerve system in its relation to the circulation. Hence those conditions at times when the body feels as if the irritation was in the EXTERIOR portion of body, especially across the torso and in the extremities.

4. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, here we find, as given, the seat or the cause of the conditions. In the lower end of the cerebrospinal system, or in the coccyx end, we find a lesion. This disturbs the organs of the pelvis, producing an irritation and an over activity in the direction of the eliminations in system. These in reflex also have produced in the lower dorsal that of a different character of lesion. Hence the nausea and the effect as is produced in system through the activity of the lower portion of the solar plexus ganglia as related to the functioning of the hepatic circulation. This, as we find, is a changeable condition and alters much by the manner in which foods are taken or in the character of exercise the body takes.

5. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF ORGANS THEMSELVES, in the sensory system we find pressures as produced by those reflexes from the hypogastric plexus produces those of an accentuation in the functioning of the sensory organism, or an accentuation in auditory - as is seen as felt in eyes, ears, and in mouth, or FULLNESS in throat and the tendency to fill, as it were, at times, or the pressure becomes so strong at times as to produce those headaches, the irritation, and as nothing goes exactly right with the body. This is a reflex; NOT a cause. Hence, as is given in the first, that the precautions should be taken, that these do not so over irritate the system as to become in a manner a constitutional condition. Hence the body would be, then, of a deeper neurotic effect, and functioning of organs as are of the eliminations would cause or produce those fullnesses, where plethora setting in would make necessary operative measures; while those of drainage may be set up in system, those of the corrective measures used for those of the cerebrospinal plexus where the ganglia show the effect as is created in the various portions of the system, would carry about for a normal condition, a normal elimination, and a normal resuscitation throughout the system.

6. In heart's action, this at times gives the impression of too full, or aching, or of the consciousness of its activity. A reflex, NOT an organic - see?

7. In the digestive system we find more of a centralized condition, as has been produced by these disturbances, and an acidity that has produced - in especially the right side of the body, those of the fullness. These are from the effects created by the eliminations being accentuated without removing the cause or the troubles of the condition; also there is the tendency - with this pressure produced in coccyx and at the 12th dorsal - to pull the stomach to an improper position. This may be looked after in the corrections as would be made.

8. Then, in meeting the needs of the conditions, will the body remain QUIET for periods FOLLOWING treatments, treatments may be done at home, or will the body REST the quicker may be the resuscitating forces set up in this body of [3742] we are speaking of.

9. We would give, then, as these:

10. First we would prepare these as the medicinal properties as would be for the system. These will work with, as we find, in their various properties, the various conditions as are effective in the system.

11. To simple syrup 4 ounces, then, we would add:

3742-1 Page 3

Tincture of Valerian....................1/2 ounce, Tincture of Stillingia..................1/4 ounce, Elixir Calisaya.........................1/2 ounce, Oil of Sassafras..........................5 minims, Iodide of Potassium, 10% solution........10 minims, Bromide of Potassium, 10% solution.......20 minims, Tincture of Capsici.......................1 minim. The dose would be, when there is irritation or distress through the system - whether from the nervous condition as produced from digestion or from headaches, or pain in the side - teaspoonful in water every three hours. When these conditions pass off, as the applications may be made for the correction of the conditions in the system, these may be made farther and farther apart. Do not let these become such as that the body feels the necessity of same. While they be not drug forming, the bromides will act as sedatives for the system - but as a stimuli, not as a deadening.

12. In the manipulations as should be given osteopathically, the first should be the RELAXING of the whole body. These should be taken for at least six to eight days EVERY DAY. THEN we may begin with the CORRECTION of those conditions existent in coccyx AND in the lumbar, lower dorsal, and naturally the ALIGNMENT in cervical. In the correction, these should not be made oftener than twice each week. We would also add those of the sinusoidal vibratory forces, applying same to the brachial plexus and to the sacral plexus. These should be of the low or the short ray. These should not be given oftener than once each week and should not be of longer duration in the beginning than three minutes, though they may be increased as conditions are better. We will find with these applications that in six weeks the body should be near normal.

13. We would find also that, after the eliminations are set up by the manipulations and corrective measures, those of the fume bath with those of the saturated solution of Epsom Salts would be WELL for the body; following same there should be the rub down, especially along the cerebrospinal system. This should be done with cold water. The reaction will be well.

14. In the diet - these should be those that are of the blood and nerve building, carrying then iron and silicon and those of the calcium also. These may be BEST given as the manipulations and the electrical vibrations are applied. Ready for questions. We are through for the present. Copy to Self
