1. LBC: You have before you [3772] of near ... County, Ky. Go over him, examine him thoroughly and tell us what is the matter with him.

2. EC: We have had him before [No copy of earlier reading. GD]. He has laceration of the lower intestines here, same as we have had before. He has had overstimulation at the lower end, a condition different from what we have had here before. The body has gained in strength and power to eliminate from the system. It has more power in itself to eliminate from the system the poisonous matters being enforced through the blood and through the nerve action on the whole system, or the whole body.

3. But the laceration we have had, has reopened here from inflammation, produced from above here - the lower intestines down here pass from the larger, and through the colon ascending, passing from the other side and the smaller intestines going out through the others helped to effect laceration until it has produced a hemorrhage. The reopening of these and the mucous passing, until we have lacerations or peritonitis, as you see in the swelling of the side.

4. The power or properties of the system itself to eliminate these, or produce a healing to this, is greater than we have had before, and all we need is to put more stimulation here. We have a decrease of temperature, and a swelling here, or passing of the hepatic circulation. We have a temperature produced from increased hepatic circulation.

5. We have a liver overstimulated from a purpose to eliminate the excess of red blood corpuscles and the excretion from the nerve ends or glands being used up, not being able to throw out from the system the juice secreted from the circulation and the nerves, producing an increased hepatic circulation. That is, through the intestines and through the liver in itself.

6. We need to stimulate the solar plexus nerve center, to give more heat to the body and eliminate from the system as much of the texture that produces a strain to the nerve forces or to the texture of the nerve force here through the intestinal tract.

7. To stimulate the solar plexus by heat, we eliminate the lower end here by cold outside, which we have here higher up, along the sides and across the pelvis here, from the upper side of the body.

8. The body is becoming weaker, and by heat, the temperature will burn up the system and open the intestinal tract or produce peritonitis here, as we have a touch of now - if it is allowed the fever to rise. We have here just above normal, while we have a respiration, you see, below. 36, - 99-3/5.

9. (Q) What other conditions do you see? (A) These are the leading conditions in the system. We have all abnormal, through the rest of the system, from conditions existing from this condition here. These are the troubles.

10. (Q) What treatment would you prescribe? (A) Stimulation to the solar plexus nerve center here at the 9th dorsal from the back. Cold to the lower part across the pelvis here, lower down than we have it. Something to help the liver to secrete from these, or increase the fine particles in the system all at the same time, enabling all scum, or gathering or forces secreted by the liver from the nerve forces and from the Hepatic circulation, to be eliminated from the system without producing the texture of overstimulation to the intestinal tract. Because if we produce a widening of the laceration, and produce an opening in the intestine, and secrete from outside, we will have fermentation here on the inside, and the body will begin then to decay in itself, or it will have to be out open and sewed up again. Of course, if we would have an operation here across the pelvis, across from either side, and open intestinals here and remove the laceration, but with the temperature as low, and the hepatic circulation increased, he would then die under the knife.
