1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time. You will diagnose the case thoroughly, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body. If at the end of this reading you are able and willing to give further information, you will designate same by saying "We are ready for the next."

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here.

3. Now, we find there are abnormal conditions that may be corrected, so that the body will function more normal, and better resistance and more ease will be experienced by the body.

4. These, then, are conditions as we find them in this body at the present time. First:

5. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this we find heavy, and carrying much that should be eliminated from the system at times - that is, there are times when this is more perceptible in the system than at others, see? In the effect as this creates, we can see many of the functioning organs become clogged, so that there is distress in kidneys and bladder at times. There is distress in the digestive system at times, produced by strains as are brought on various portions of the organism as the condition shows more in the cycle of the system's functioning.

6. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, in this we find there is a great deal of the beginning of the trouble. In certain portions of the cervical and upper dorsal we find lesions that, with their subluxations and the effect from same, distresses are brought to various portions of the system. These have been gradual. Hence the conditions have changed in the functioning from time to time, by the forcing of nerve reaction and of this rebuilding as applied in body by properties taken in to system, and by changes brought about in the body from time to time - the effect has changed, yet the subluxations show in system as yet - in the 4th and 5th cervical, in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th dorsal; also in

lumbar - this reflex. In the effect as is produced by this in the present stage of the condition, we find that the secondary cardiac plexus - which, as we see, is s branch of the supplying of the nutriment to the bronchials, larynx, and upper portion of the lungs and trachea - this inflammation as is produced, produces a continual inclination to clear throat, and cough, see? Also this reflex pressure produces that heaviness through the lower limbs, and along the sciatic nerves, for the repression in the lumbar gives, especially, that condition to the locomotories of the lower limbs.

7. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS, distress is brought, reflexly and directly, through subluxation and through the conditions in the body, to the sensory system. The position in which the body sits most of the time is a hindrance. Not by natural conditions, but by the natural outcome of subluxations.

8. In the effect produced by the condition in lungs, not that of a distress, save reflexly.

9. Heart's action shows the fullness in blood.

10. Digestive system shows that condition as is shown through repression, and by a gradual poisoning of the system by toxins as produce and reproduce, and change in the system from time to time.

11. Then, to overcome these conditions, we would first begin with the correction of those subluxations in the cerebrospinal system. It will be found that the body should be first relaxed by heat applied to the body - preferably wet heat, to the cervical, upper dorsal and lumbar - before such adjustments, osteopathically, are given, see?

12. At the same time that these are begun (these treatments for the correction), begin with those corrections that will give the digestive system and the blood supply that necessary incentive to add to the incentive by correction to cleanse the system - taking, then, as this, prepared in this way and manner:

13. First we would take 6 ounces Wild Cherry Bark, and add to 1 gallon of rain water, or distilled water. Reduce by simmering to 1 quart. Add to this, by simmering in wile hot - not boiling - but very hot, 4 ounces of sugar. Then add (this used as the base, see, or carrier): Syrup of Sarsaparilla................1 ounce, Tincture of Stillingia.............1/2 ounce, Tincture of Burdock Root...........1/2 ounce, Elixir Calisaya....................1/2 ounce,

Oil of Peppermint....................3 minims, Tincture of Capsici..................2 minims, 10% Solution Iodide of Potassium....30 minims, Balsam of Tolu, cut in 2 ounces Grain Alcohol,....................1 dram.

14. Shake together before the dose is taken, which would be a teaspoonful 4 times each day. This taken consistently and persistently, with the adjustments, will bring about the corrections in this system.

15. In the diet, beware of meats. Chicken or fish may be eaten when it is well cooked or prepared, but not fried fish. Not too much greases, see? Rather raw vegetables as much as possible.

16. Well that douches be taken to cleanse the system of all secretions, both through the intestinal system and through the vagina, see? for excretions show from all portions of the body when eliminations are fully set up, see? These should carry the antiseptic of a tablespoonful of Glyco-Thymoline to the gallon of water - that proportion, see?

17. At least twenty-eight (28) such adjustments should be made, and two (2) quantities of the medicinal properties taken. Do that.

18. We are ready for the next reading.
