1. EC: Now in this body, Mrs. [3774] of whom we are speaking, we have some conditions in the body that are abnormal, we have some conditions that are functional, and we have some conditions that exist in the body that produce an abnormal condition through the action of some of the organs, yet without any functional trouble of the organs, and no organic trouble. We have a condition produced through the nervous system in the body, affecting a nervous system, which through its action, affects the action of the organs in their functioning, yet there is no organic trouble.
2. The nervous condition of the system is the condition we must treat. To treat this condition in the body we must treat the condition producing the trouble, and not the condition existing and caused by the abnormal conditions. We have an effect of the pneumogastrics to the sympathetic nerves in their reflex action to the sensory organism which affects the reflex muscles at times when heat or cold affects the body. The affect of this is felt in the head, the throat, and the ears, and at times a sensation is produced to the eye, as after a coughing spell, and there is a roaring in the head. If the nervous condition is corrected in the system, we will correct the condition affecting the centers governing the affected parts.
3. We have an enlargement of the glands at these junctions - between the fifth and sixth dorsals and between the first and second cervicals, which govern the affected portions of the body. The thyroids as well as the pneumogastrics are affected. Bacilli, or poison left in the blood on account of the blood not being perfectly clarified in the lungs, is carried back to the system. This produces a condition in the liver which acts through the entire nervous system. This carries the condition as we have through the entire digestive tract. Things can be taken in the system which will reduce the condition in the system, as we have through channels here. This will be done by taking into the system things that will produce a lactic state, and it will also be

done by manipulation of the hand, or massage. The abnormal conditions cannot be removed by local treatment of the nose and throat. This will not assist the body. We will take this into the system for one dose:
Bromide of Potassium..........1 grain, Bromide of Iodide.............1 grain, Bromide of Sodium.............1 grain. Put in 1 Gill of Peptotone as a carrier. Give the dose as we have given here.
4. Then we will treat the body by manipulation of the hand, or massage, from the first cervical to the ninth dorsal and through the shoulder. The rest of the body should not be treated, as it will produce an abnormal condition.
5. (Q) What causes the poor circulation of the left foot? (A) We have given this, but it will be removed by the manipulation from the sixth dorsal to the ninth dorsal.
6. (Q) What causes the severe headaches? (A) We have given this. It is caused chiefly by an effect which comes through the pneumogastric forces.
