1. GC: You will give the physical conditions of this body at the present time, with special reference to the diet, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body.

2. EC: Now we find the physical conditions in this body somewhat different from those when we had them here before. Some for the better, some not so good.

3. Now, these are the conditions as we find them at the present time. First:

4. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this we find sufficient in quantity, yet in quality deficient for the rebuilding forces completely in system, especially in some portions, and the supply itself subnormal in its circulation, both in trunk portion and in the capillaries and to extremities.

5. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, this we find in many centers, as has been given, deflected by pressure, by lack of nutriment in the centers proper and in the supply of the incentive, both from constitutional conditions and from the incentive of locomotion as received in its functioning through the cerebrospinal and brain forces, for lack of nutriment again to equalize the circulation, both in nerve supply and in blood forces. Hence we have from these conditions disturbances in the functioning of the system.

6. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS, in the distress as is caused in circulation, and in nerve system, the pressure as is produced in the 4th and 5th dorsal plexus produces disturbance at times to the lungs. That in the 8th and 9th dorsal gives disturbance of the exaggerated nature to the mesenteric system, so that when there is taken in the system properties not agreeing with the condition of the digestive system, the body attempting to create equalization through disturbed circulation and blood supply, overflows often the hypogastric and pneumogastric plexus, with lymphatic secretion rather than blood supply to create coagulation necessary to meet the disturbance in system.

7. Then we have in heart's action subnormal flow with a pressure created.

8. In digestive system, the lack of the properties to keep the system in the even keel, when the system is taxed by any abnormal quantity of that producing either too much acid or too much sugar to the system.

9. Then we have this overflow through mesenteric system and too much of the pressure is brought on the lower digestive system, and the circulation being impaired produces headaches, pressure on hypogastric center, producing reflex pressure through the pulmonaries and through the lungs proper.

10. In the liver we find low, on account of conditions of blood system and low in its functioning, both in the excretory and secretions of properties for digestion.

11. In the intestinal tract itself, we find many of the walls of the upper portion of system thinned by strain on system. The whole circulation in hepatics becomes exaggerated through pressure as produced in the system.

12. In the kidneys, especially, do we find the overtaxed condition, in the eliminating of the pressure and of the poisons produced by pressure. Hence the lower circulation gives rise of the troubles in the capillary circulation, especially in lower limbs. Hence the tendency for circulation to become so laggard as to produce swelling and pains through the centers and plexuses through which these are controlled.

13. Then, to give the best for the system at the present time, we would give these properties in the system, and in the care of diet, especially, follow in this way. Also through the manipulation that would give equalization in circulation rather than of attempting to relieve pressure in centers, until the system is better able through the medicinal properties, and through general constitutional improvement, to stand the alleviation in those subligated [subluxated] centers. The treatments as osteopathically given should be at least once each week.

14. Each day the body should take at least three drops (one before each meal) of Pepsin. Every third day small quantity of honey with charcoal should be taken, such as is prepared by the Battle Creek, Michigan, proprietary medicines. Half a tablet of this should be taken.

15. As to diet, take never too much of ANY properties for the system. As for meats, preferably the juices rather than of the flesh itself. Never highly seasoned properties of any kind. Very little of any properties of an acid nature; that is, properties or foods prepared with vinegars or spices should never be taken, or very little if any. Properties as is found in starch foods, balanced well with

those of the proteid nature. This should be governed according to the needs of the body. The body should not overtax itself in exercising, else we will find we will keep the strain and pressure on the circulation. Not until the circulation has become equalized and the pressure removed.

16. Follow these and we will find we will bring the better conditions for this body, [3776]: Essence of Pepsin.............1 drop, Charcoal & Honey as prepared by Battle Creek, Michigan, every third day..........1/2 tablet.

17. Manipulation for equalization of circulation once each eight days.

18. Diet, care taken, keeping away from acids and too much sweets. Starch and proteids, well balanced; keeping the system to meet the condition, not allowing any time for the system to pass days, or day, without the system throwing off the dross through natural channels.

19. We will find the Pepsin will act as the tone and builder for the condition in stomach proper.

20. The Honey and Charcoal for acids and for the conditions through intestines and colon.

21. The manipulation will act as equalizing circulation, allowing body to rest better.

22. The diet to build the body normal. With care, we will bring the conditions better and normal for this body.

23. We are through for the present.
