Time of Reading 10:15 A. M. Hopkinsville, Ky.

1. (?): You are now asleep and you will be able to tell us what we want to know. You have before you [3798], who is in this room. He is before you.

2. EC: [3798], yes we have him here; we have had him before.

3. (?): Go over him carefully and examine him thoroughly.

4. Not so much congestion, not much water in the lymphatics.

5. (?): Go over him carefully and tell us what his condition is today - now - at present.

6. Condition today. We have the condition here at present, beginning with the condition here we want to better the condition. The condition now at the seat of the trouble, through the intestinal tract and colon (all through the intestinal tract) where we have had inflammation, not so much inflammation as a choking up of the intestinal tract all the way through, we have a lack of the secretions or mucous lining of the intestines to force the food taken in the stomach to carry on through; the lack of nerve force being supplied to the hepatic circulation, until it produces a backing up of the poisons to the system from the kidney and from the urine; passing back from the acid of it back into the system through the sympathetics. The condition we have had of the urine and of the kidneys are reflex; the kidneys are better.

7. Now the condition we have had here in the upper and lower part of the colon - the upper end this way, up in the body but lower end - we still have these tacks or scales formed along the sides in the intestinal tract (the intestinal tract is fixed, here, we have three coats, the outside, tougher coat; fibrous and blood supply and inside the mucous coat), the mucous coat along these sides has formed themselves into scales, not rough outside like the hand, but scales along the intestinal tract where it should be smooth; these conditions excite the nerve force and produce the condition we have through the whole system - tired, weak and worn out to the nerve supply.

8. Relax all the spine through the lumbars, along the dorsal and through the cervicals until we have brought to the circulation a renewed energy into the force of it.

Sometimes he feels tired and then he feels better. Renewed energy of the blood force; have not removed the trouble through the intestinal tract.

9. We will change it now, we have renewed these energies into the kidney - the kidney is the pole of the secretion that draws from the system the poisonous matter that passes off with the water taken into the system; not enough water, need more; the water is about 7/10 of the whole system. We do not have enough gotten out through the urine, through absorption, through the respiratory organs, through the skin.

10. Through the urine passed out - the secretion passed out - from these forces to the system produce a lack of the forces to carry on into the system these renewed forces or energy to rebuild, taken out through the intestinal tract produce the same to the hepatic circulation and to the liver - the opposite pole to the kidney; from the one we get negative, from the other we get positive. One becomes positive when inflamed, the other becomes negative.

11. Keep as much out of the stomach as possible and force it into the intestinal tract, but keep as much out of the intestinal tract as possible until we have renewed the energy. Keep it passing along but do not produce inflammation to the intestinal tract but a soothing, cooling and allow nature to exert itself.

12. The hepatic circulation is through the intestines and through the liver. We have to the heart organs carried back and forth twice until it passes into the heart. Give it rest and we will have these forces here renewed instead of producing inflammation more to the kidney from what we have had into the system. We will take it off the intestinal tract and liver and keep it out of the stomach anything that won't digest in it. Keep manipulation along the spine; as much rest as possible. Give rest from the nerve force - the building power - to the system; get more in your sleep than when awake.

13. (Q) Any other treatment you would suggest at present? (A) Take into this system something to keep this out, plenty of water in the stomach, as much as possible; plenty of water at all times, plain water. Keep with it the medicinal properties taken into it in the form of Cascara, Powdered Rag Leaves; take one one day, take one another day; do not take together for we do not want both in the system at once. We have not energy in the liver to act and take repeatedly. After a while it begins in the former and then take more to purge the system but do not purge the system at all but just something to produce a mastication into the

system that produces an acid state in the intestinal tract. The food passes in the stomach in an alkaline state and from the action of the juices of pancreas and duodenum produces then - there they are not passed out or are not in the alkaline state and produces the condition we have here. Take this in small quantities into the stomach; take one one day, take one the next day.

14. (Q) How often during the day? (A) Not to act on the system, one day take two, one day won't take any and one day take one. One acts on the intestinal tract and the other acts on the liver. Then we follow these forces from one thing to the other with manipulation. If we increase these forces too much with manipulation we will stimulate these forces back to the kidney. We want to stimulate these forces back to the kidney and relieve these lesions along the lumbar we have had. Keep these relaxed until we produce an action between the two poles; we have loosened up one pole from absorption not medicinally. The medicine has acted through the sympathetics and the red blood; it has reached through absorption and not through proper channels.
