In the office Time of Reading of ... Co., 10:45 to 10:55 A. M. Eastern War Time. ..., S.C. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [3805].
2. As we find, there are disturbing conditions which prevent the better physical functioning of the body. These conditions are somewhat improved in the present. The characters of administrations for the control of the suggestive forces, or mental and spiritual attributes of the body, are well. These we would continue.
3. There are in the physical or pathological conditions, however the sources of the troubles. In the cerebrospinal system, through the lumbar and the lower dorsal area, there have been those hindrances in times back - by lack of activity of the lymph, blood and nerve supply - that have caused plethoric conditions in colon, thus engorging same. The fecal forces have remained so long as to cause the activities to become nil, or to cause the lack of control with the removal of the disturbing conditions.
4. These, then, as we find, should be the characters of administrations in the present, combined regularly with the suggestive and spiritual directions for the body in its control of its activities among peoples, among associates, as well as for physical conditions:
5. We would continue the osteopathic treatments. These should be taken regularly, two each week, for at least sixteen treatments; with special reference to the lumbar-sacral and throughout the dorsal areas or those centers that control not only the activities of the colon in the caecum and transverse area but the nerves and muscles that control the sphincter centers in the lower portion of the descending colon.
6. Occasionally cleanse the colon so that there may be, with the change of the circulation of nerve and blood supply, a replenishing and rebuilding of the nerve and muscular forces

controlling the activities of the colon, the sphincter muscles of the anus and through the lower portion of colon.
7. When the colonic irrigations are given, the first solution injected should contain a heaping teaspoonful of table salt and a heaping teaspoonful of baking soda to the gallon of water body temperature.
8. In the last rinse water used, do put at least a tablespoonful of Glyco-Thymoline to each gallon of water body temperature.
9. Do these, and then let the body live normally in its associations and activities, and we will build a normal reaction through the body-forces.
10. As to the frequency of the colonic irrigations, these should be given whenever there is a feeling of fullness in colon or a lack of proper nutrition; or once every two weeks or twice a month.
11. In the first series of osteopathic treatments, keep these twice each week, regularly for at least sixteen treatments. Leave off then for a period of three weeks to a month and then have another series.
12. Thus we will make better conditions for the body.
13. We are through with this reading. Two copies to Mother (one for the osteopath - Please let us have the name and address of the one you choose.) Copy to Ass'n file " under Case number for indexing
