1. GC: You will have before you the bodies and the enquiring minds of Edgar Cayce, Thomas B. House, Jr., Gray Salter and Hugh Lynn Cayce, present in this room. You will also have the proposition which has been in the mind of each for the past few days as follows: It is the desire of these four to aid mankind through the carrying out of the work of Edgar Cayce in absolute accordance with information obtained through his readings. These four pledge themselves to carry out in detail and in accord with the ideal of this group to help mankind any advice and information which may be obtained through these forces that lead to the finding of buried treasures. One half of each treasure so found will be set aside as a fund to be administered by the four as directed through these readings to build hospitals, schools, carry on social service work and generally aid man to help himself. The rest will be equally divided among the four who will then contribute from their share the necessary amounts for the next expedition. It is the desire that this work expand and grow to become a great force for good in the world. Please give us advice and guidance as to the practicability and feasibility of this plan and if it is in accord with the will of the Creative Forces guide us in the initial steps for this work. Please answer the questions regarding this which we will ask you.
2. EC: Yes, we have the bodies, the enquiring minds, Edgar Cayce, Thomas B. House, Jr., Gray Salter, Hugh Lynn Cayce, present in this room. Also the ideas and the ideals of each as concerning the information as may be given as respecting beneficial effects as may be obtained from same, in aiding mankind through the various channels. Also that manner in which these seek at this time to obtain such financial assistance and aid, and the distribution of such.
3. In considering such an undertaking, there are many conditions, many things, to be considered pro and con. There are many conditions already existent in the affairs of

each, as well as in relations to others, as consider ways and means to aid others through these same channels. As has been given, these should be rather a unity of thought than of individuals' attempts to take the varied phases of same and work from individual channels, yet under existent circumstances there apparently comes the time when individual groups should act independent of each other in furthering that portion, or that phase of the aid as may be obtained through their particular channel of endeavor, as well as their particular ideal as to manner in which same is TO be handled.
4. In the present situations, we find the idea and ideal of those as are particularly concerned at this time as being plausible, feasible, and a workable situation; yet the time for same is not the proper period, either in the development of the ideal in the minds of either of those concerned, or in the affairs as they exist in the present situation - for, as has oft been given, "Let not thine good be EVIL spoken of." In the present situation we would find misunderstandings arising from the efforts, whether they be successful or only partially so, or an entire failure; for others not understanding - there having been questions, and questionable conditions in the lives of many concerned, throughout the periods when there have been varied attempts, in various circumstances and conditions, with only a partial success or a decided failure - these WOULD not be understood; neither would they be countenanced by many who are sincere in their efforts to aid in EVERY manner as may be possible or plausible within their own spheres.
5. Then, the question naturally arises in the minds of these present, as to the manner in which each would conduct them- selves to better prepare, better fit, better make themselves in a position where UNDERSTANDABLE conditions may arise within their individual experiences that, collaborated or coordinated in the efforts of the individuals as a group, may make and give, and lend and give that of themselves, their labors, in a manner as WILL be acceptable, understandable, and MEET the situations in the present crisis in the lives of each, as concerning their associations with the phenomena, the information, the desire to be of aid, the desire to be a portion of, to be affiliated with the effort to use same as a stimuli to mankind, mankind's development in the affairs of individuals, in the affairs of groups, masses, nations. These apparently have been rejected in many ways by those apparently in charge, or in active association with the affairs of that being attempted. Then, let each know within

themselves there is that ability, that service, as - turned in the proper, in the correct direction - may be made as not a small portion, but as an integral part of that service as may be rendered mankind, the peoples, the populace, the individual, through such channels.
6. Study, then, to show self approved unto God, and keep self unspotted from the world, avoiding the APPEARANCES of evil. In so doing each will make themselves a channel through which all forces in nature, or - to be broader - all forces in heaven and earth may find through themselves a channel of expression of that in which each HAS believed, and believing - having that faith, that confidence, that the source, the channel through which such information may come, is able to KEEP that as is committed unto each against any circumstance, any condition, that may arise in their experience. In making themselves, each, such a channel, there will be presented - in those various phases through which each may receive those direct messages from the cosmic forces of the universe - that position, that sphere, that act, that each is TO do to enable them, as individuals, as a group, as associates - with an eye single to service - to find that place, that niche, that work each IS to do.
7. That the discovery of treasures, of those that have been placed - or misplaced - has oft been given as a channel through which a service may - at its proper time - come, for the development, the proof of the various phases of the phenomena being considered as a channel - this should not be a means to an end, but an end to a means to carry on; and, as each - then - prepare themselves, through those manners and those ways as given, there will be given those PLACES, those CONDITIONS IN the various things of their experience, as will be THE thing, THAT thing, each IS to do, to accomplish more for themselves and for mankind. Ready for questions.
8. (Q) Question by Thomas House, Jr.: Will my father, Thomas B. House, now advise us concerning this undertaking? (A) Thomas, be not loud-mouthed; neither be overanxious. Take things easy, my boy, knowing there is that in self through which all forces may MAGNIFY themselves in thee. HEED that given, son. We are through.
