1. GD: Now you will have before you the business associations of [3818], who is present in this room, and will answer the questions on same as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have him here and many conditions as refer to the associations at this time.
3. (Q) What is the position of Frank Schonfield [Shoenfeld? See 3818-7, Par. 4-A] on Boone and towards [3818] and what should [3818] do regarding same? (A) The position of Frank Schonfield at this time has been and is one of doubt. There will be within the next twenty-four hours a change in that position, and one that will be beneficial to [3818]. Apparently, at first, it will be that it would not be satisfactory altogether, but will prove so, and [3818] should wait on that change, which will come from the position that another individual will make between him and some other relations. It will be well and his position will be changed for the better.
4. (Q) What will be the outcome of International Lamp, and in what way will it affect [3818]? (A) This seems to be long drawn out. Some complications. In the end will be well. At the present time not so good but in the end be well.
5. (Q) What should [3818] do about Fred C. Bristol Company? (A) Part of these conditions are inevitable and will be acceptable in time. It would be well that these be considered and in some manner accord to the conditions as have been set by them.
6. (Q) How about lawsuits threatened or filed against [3818]? What should he do? (A) Meet them with the conditions that will improve with the change in the control of output of the mills in question, and in answer to the suits filed, in two particulars, place the blame where it belongs. In the other we will find with the change better conditions will come.
7. (Q) What should [3818] do on Boone Stock Market? (A) The improvement is coming with these, you see. Be well that with the change in the price that the advantage of same be taken by [3818].

8. (Q) What should [3818] do in the way of making any changes in his connections and associations to help his brothers and himself? (A) These will adjust themselves as conditions adjust. Do not be hasty in making changes at the present time. It will be sixty or ninety days yet before many of the conditions (as apparently are bad) will even come to the point where necessity would make the change.
9. (Q) What is the position of J. P. Griffin and J. S. Bache & Company on Boone, and what should [3818] do? (A) Their position is at the present time in a protective manner for themselves, and for the other and take advantage of same. They are recovering, you see, on many of the sales that have been offered.
10. (Q) Will [3818] regain his lost fortune and prestige, and how? (A) Through the handling of the mills proper and in the establishing of other mills of a different nature in the early part of present year - to come.
11. (Q) Should [3818] sell Broadway Central Building, or not? (A) No.
12. (Q) Will [3818] ever build a paper mill in Chicago, and when? (A) Spring - coming - yes.
13. (Q) What about the future of Daniel Boone Woolen Mill? (A) It will be improved. It will be good. They have not passed for a lot yet. It could be recovered, for we find there has been much covered on the sales on market, and with this recovery there will be organization in the different form. [3818] will profit by the re-organization.
14. (Q) What is the market position of Ben Bloch or Bloch, Maloney & Company? (A) We don't get that.
15. (Q) What is in M. A. Isaac's mind about [3818] and what should [3818] do? (A) Take advantage of the opportunity that will be presented through this body.
16. (Q) What about Blake Brothers negotiations with Boone Mills and the outcome? (A) Be stayed off by some other conditions arising. In the end the re-organization will be well. Not for these, but for [3818].
17. (Q) Will [3818] continue to guide the destiny of Boone Mills, and what should he do? (A) The output of this will be guided by him, by the efforts of [3818] in the conditions that are to arise. As to what [is] to be done about those conditions at present, there are too many other conditions to arise to give these

now, for the change must come, but with this we will find the recuperation of much of the lost force and prestige as had been held.
