R E A D I N G
Time of Reading 4:00 P. M. ..., Ill.
1. GD: Now you have before you, [3818] who is present in this room. You will locate the specific ailment that is troubling him at the present time, and, if possible, give the treatment for the immediate relief of same.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here. We have had this before, you see.
3. Now, we find there are changes in the system since that as we had before. Were those conditions carried out, that as has been given, we would not have had this present condition in the laxness of the tissue in portions of the body that causes the distress to the folds in portions of the canal through system. This we find is produced by the tissue becoming lax from the action of the hypogastric centers being broken down in their action in the system. This producing specific conditions in this portion of the body, as we see.
4. There are many ways in which there may be relief brought to the body. That which will be the natural means, as would give the relief, would be a lotion as would be prepared, which would be a specific for such conditions. As in this:
5. To 1/2 ounces of oil of butterfat, there would be added powdered tobacco sufficient to make a salve. Added to this and mixed well would be 10 minims - [long pause]
6. (Q) Will you please continue with this reading? (A) We have the conditions here. In this would be added that of Camphor 2 minims. That of the solution 10 minims of - we have it here -
This would be applied to applied to those portions that are affected, this producing an astringent in the system, and with the laxness of the tissue would produce the tautness that would be necessary to relieve permanently the conditions as we find.
Then for the general system add those properties as have been given to bring the normal forces to the body. Do that.

7. (Q) Will you please repeat the prescription? (A) To the butterfat as given, add these properties as have been given for the solution. This would be applied to the body.
8. (Q) 10 minims of - ? (A) 10 minims of Menthol, and this is mixed well and applied to the body. Do that, if we would bring that which will remain with the system and a specific for conditions.
