1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly and tell me the conditions you find at the present time. You will diagnose the case thoroughly, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body.
2. EC: Now, while we find many physical conditions in this body very good, we find those of the abnormal nature also that may be corrected. These, as we find, have to do with specific conditions that affect the body in various ways, depending upon the cycle of the condition existent, producing then conditions that vary from time to time in the body.
3. Now these are the conditions as we find them in this body, [3822], we are speaking of, present in this room. First:
4. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this we find below the normal, especially in red blood supply, and the blood carrying toxins or poisons not eliminated in or through their proper channels. Hence one abnormal condition is imperfect eliminations, or an unequalized elimination in the body. Hence many portions of the system, in the eliminating centers then, suffer at times from conditions existent.
5. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, in this we find the seat of the trouble. In certain centers we find conditions that have gradually brought about conditions, and the changes from time to time rather that of change of the effect produced in the system than the system being corrected of condition being or causing the disturbances in the body. In then the 8th, 9th dorsal, in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th dorsal centers; we find the greater trouble in the 8th and 9th, also reflexly in the lower lumbar regions. Now, these impair the circulation of the nerve nutriment directing the circulation through portions of the system, causing this condition as existent in the digestive system, stomach proper, lack of digestions without aid of nutriment to produce same, lack of eliminations through kidneys in their proper channel, lack of eliminations, or being overcharged in eliminations

through the upper intestinal tract, from which region the toxins are assimilated or taken into the circulation. Hence the toxins as produced through lower portion of the stomach proper and about the lacteal ducts and the Peyer's Glands. In this then we find these conditions, as given, reflexes from this impaired force in the dorsal region. In the sympathetic system, this produces the reflexes to the lower portion of the body, or through the sacral and through the kidneys and the condition as exists in bladder at times, when the high state of toxins are in the system and attempting to eliminate, the system over-secreting, as it were, and produced by the acid force, producing this burning sensation as happens at times.
6. IN THE ORGANS OF THE BODY, brain forces very good.
7. Sensory organism effective through the action of sympathetic and cerebrospinal systems.
8. Lung forces show the condition in elimination and the effect toxins produce on the system by overtaxation through pulmonaries, yet no organic condition.
9. Heart's action then under that condition as is produced by properties as affect the circulation, to increase or decrease same in affecting the digestive system.
10. In the stomach then proper, this rather small and inclined to be tilted toward the lower end, from strain as produced by overtaxing the pneumogastric plexus in effecting digestion.
11. The liver shows a plethora condition, though inactive in a normal manner, yet functions through the excretory system but not secreting as much as proper. Circulation affecting this, or condition in circulation.
12. In the Peyer's Gland region, or across the right side, we have depressions at times. Not a direct pain but the depressions. This the effect of the lack of nerve nutriment to the system to supply the proper amount of the forces producing digestion and assimilation in a normal manner.
13. In the lower hepatic circulation, this high, often overtaxed. Hence the condition in kidneys when the excess of circulation is shifted by a condition in the nerve system, brings irritation to the body, irritation to the capillary circulation, irritation to the mental forces as in system. Then we have the high state of acidity through the urinal discharge.
14. Then to bring the normal forces to this body, we would first go about to take those properties in the system that will give the incentive of equalization in digestive tract. That is, equalizing the lacteal and hydro-chloric forces in lower portion of stomach, which will be found in taking

these properties:
15. To 6 ounces of green ragweed, or Ambrosia Weed, add 16 ounces distilled water [See 3822-2] (after this is rinsed). Reduce by simmering to 1 quart. To this we would add: Beet sugar................1 ounce, Grain alcohol.............3 ounces, Balsam of Tolu...(cut this in alcohol before adding to solution)....2 drams. The dose of this would be teaspoonful 4 times each day, taking after meals. Not too much sweets for the body while this is being taken. Not much of meats. Rather those of fruits, of cereals, of green vegetable forces.
16. Correct by deep manipulation, osteopathically given, those conditions as exist in the dorsal and lumbar regions. This will be necessary then to take at least 10 to 12 such manipulations and adjustments. Through this we will find we will bring nearer the normal condition to this body, [3822], we are speaking of. Do that.
17. (Q) Should the osteopathic treatments be given while the medicine is being taken, or after? (A) While medicine is being taken; that is, during the same period. Osteopathic treatments should be given every other day, until the full amount are taken, or the adjustments are made. Medicinal properties will not be finished by that time. Finish those.
18. We are through.
