1. EC: Now we find the abnormal physical conditions are in the way of becoming rather serious in the physical functioning. While these conditions have arisen from that of seeming minor origin, the continued re-infection - as it were - of the system to the disturbances are giving distresses to forces in the system that, without proper correction, will assume alarming proportions.

2. There has existed in the physical condition from times back disturbances through the pelvic organs, and the pressure there - especially in the sacral and lumbar regions - has caused distresses that have affected the kidneys and the hepatic circulation. Hence the distresses as come to the tissue about the functioning of the locomotaries, and the growths of conditions as are surrogated in system are giving troubles also.

3. First there needs particular attention to the system to check this tendency of the serums and tissue of the body from surrogating itself about that of the disturbed condition in lumbar and sacral, also to add sufficient of vibrations in the system as to overcome or to meet the necessary conditions for the correction of incentives through nerve and blood supply through the digestive and assimilating system, or hepatic circulation, as well as the reflex distresses as are created by same above the diaphragm; that is, to head, throat, lungs, and upper part of the body, and the pressure as is NATURALLY created in a disturbed hepatic circulation to the heart's action itself. With the correction of the others, however, these will assume near normal functioning.

4. First we would apply to the lumbar and sacral region those of the saturated solution of Epsom Salts, and apply salt - HEATED - to the application, or pack - that these may be kept warm until we reduce these conditions existent there. Then, when the condition is reduced, well that the whole portion of the lumbar and sacral region so applied or

so assisted, be massaged rather thoroughly with a weakened solution of a sedative, or an opiate reacting condition - such as laudanum, that the condition may be allayed. This should be done at least two to three times, while the others must be kept up until the condition is allayed. Then we would begin with those of the manipulations to relieve the stress on the central nervous system, from the pressures as have been created there. This may be done osteopathically, provided these are kept in the direction of allaying the central nervous system without distributing or allowing same to be overactive in the upper portion of the body. Also we would take internally those properties as are found in Toris Compound, and these should be mixed two quantities - one made with the simple syrup, the other with the Spirits Fermenti, then putting the two together; and keep the intestinal tract open by using enemas at least once each week. The dosage as would be taken of the Toris Compound would be that of two teaspoonsful four times each day. Then, when this has been carried out we would given further instructions for the body. The manipulations should be given each day, AFTER the condition is allayed in the lumbar and sacral region. We are through for the present.
