1. FEM: Now, Mr. Cayce, you are going to sleep. (Pause) Now, Mr. Cayce, you are asleep, and all of the organs of your body will function properly. You will hear me and answer all of my questions. You have before you this morning the body of [3859], who is present in this room. Now, Mr. Cayce, tell me the physical and mental ailments that you find within this body that you have before you, and if an operation is necessary please tell me, and if not, tell me what will relieve the conditions that you find in this body. [3859], present in this room.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Now, the abnormal conditions as we find them in this body exist through the functioning of organs, especially those about the digestive tract. While the effect is shown in the circulation and in the action of the nerve forces of the body, even these are conditions as we find in the body here of [3859]. The blood in its circulation shows the effect of temperature being produced sub-normally within the body, and it arises from a condition existing in the spleen and the pancreatic and liver forces. The effect of over producing and over supply of force exercised in the body to cause the other organs, for they come close in touch with their action and their functioning effect throughout the system. In the nerve forces in the body we find at times the body is over taxed and nervous. The forces through the sympathetic nerve force becoming over-charged by the heat as produced within the body forms a refractory force to the cerebral spinal centers through which it passes, and causes pains to show or to express themselves in portions of the body, such as we have here, at the 4th dorsal, between the shoulders and through the solar plexus center at the 9th dorsal, or across the middle of the back, or the lower end, and then across the hips here at the lumbar region. See?
FEM: Yes, sir.
3. This giving a dull pain or tired feeling to the body. The inability to force almost at times the action of the

muscular force to carry on their incentives as received through the cerebrospinal force itself. The spleen in its functioning, which is to destroy the blood cells used by the brain in its functioning over the system shows it has become hardened and gives to the system the anaemic force as expressed through the blood in its course through the system; it giving the specific rise of temperature that occurs in the body from time to time. It, as it were, tears up, or eats up and destroys too much of the red blood cellular force, not giving off to the system that which is needed to replenish and rebuild the cells, especially to the capillary circulation. So we find the body has become anaematized to a certain extent, yet not wholly anaemic for the supplying needed to the emunctories is supplied in this body through the action of the white blood forces to carry on its functioning. The digestive tract itself becomes involved so that the stomach even is smaller than it should be a body of this stature. See?
FEM: Yes, sir.
4. Or for the physical forces needed to be exercised in this body. The action of the pancreatic forces is to produce an over amount of the salines needed to function throughout the rest of the system. Hence the condition that exists through the intestinal tract at times, and showing its effect often times through the ileum plexus. To alleviate the pains as shown in this body, and to give it equilibrium, and to bring the body so that it will give more strength to the vital forces, and so that we have the digestive forces so adjusted as to care for those portions, there should be taken into the body or into the system that which would bring strength to parts of the system that need to receive the proper vibration through the blood forces and through the body itself. So we would give those forces that give strength and vitality to the depleted forces as we will find in this compound, in this manner: to 1 gallon of rain water we would add 1 pound of clara flower, or sage. See?
FEM: Yes, sir.
5. This should be reduced by simmering, and not boiling, to 1 quart. We would then add, while still warm, 4 ounces of cane sugar, 1/2 pint of spiritus frumenti, 15 grains of ambergris, 3 drams of cinnamon, preferably in the stick or bark, 3 drams of balsam of tolu. These will necessarily have to be added while the solution is warm, and in the order as given. The ambergris would be dissolved in 1 ounce of grain alcohol. Dose: Tablespoonful 4 times a day. While

this is being taken into the system, which is to act on the digestive tract to give a cleaning to the intestinal force, to prevent the secretion of toxins that poison the system itself from lacerations in the lower end of the smaller intestines. See? FEM: Yes, sir.
6. And to give action and re-action to the kidneys in their supply in eliminating from the system these poisons, but as a strengthening force we would this, to be taken in 24 pellets; one each evening before retiring:
Gum Camphor.................20 grains, Sulfate of Morphia...........3 grains, Muriate of Ammonia..........30 grains.
All of this will be taken into the system, made into pellets and not in capsules, see?
FEM: Yes, sir.
7. It is necessary to keep this in a cool place, or else they will dissolve and run together. As this is taken into the system, and as the exercises are taken by the body, - that is plenty of exercise to work off the surplus force in the body - the diet shall be not meats, but as much of vegetable as possible, and as much of it green as possible for the body to use. When meats are used only that of wild game, or chicken of domestic food. Follow this if we would rebuild this body, and it will gain flesh and lose this dull heaviness that comes to it, and we will lose this temperature that arises in the system and this pressure of heart force, for these are not organic conditions, save those as found in the spleen and the refractory forces, or the reactory forces to the pancreas and the liver. Do that.
8. (Q) Now, Mr. Cayce, [3859] has rheumatism. Will this medicine help the rheumatic condition? (A) [EC repeated question] The rheumatic forces in the body are the result of poisons in the system itself, and not those ordinarily called rheumatic forces, or of an organic condition existing. Follow this as we have given if we would remove these forces. We are through.
9. Now, Mr. Cayce, you will forget all about this reading you have just given. You are feeling all right and all the organs of your body function properly. You are feeling good. Now, wake up in 2 minutes just feeling fine and all right.
