1. EC: Yes, we have those impressions of the body, [3861] - this in part we have had before.

2. In the physical forces of the body we find there are conditions that cause disturbance in the physical functioning of the body. These in some respects have been of long duration. Were the history to be given of these, we would be here for the rest of the day! We will give these as needs to be corrected.

3. In the functioning organs there are conditions of which the body would be warned, and these should not be taken as being those conditions that may arise in the immediate future, if corrections are made, nor should they be taken to become those that will cast such a pall over the body as to become detrimental - but we will answer what's given, or asked for.

4. In the disturbing forces, these have to do with conditions that have arisen in some indiscretions of the body physically, as well as mentally. These, then, disturb the equilibrium in the manner in which the assimilated forces act upon the physical body, disturbing the lymph as functions for the upper portion of the body, as well as that that disturbs those eliminations as may be effected in system through the kidneys.

5. In the disturbance, then, we find these as existent conditions:

6. The body-physical is in a better condition than it has been in the past. While there have been those worriments mentally that upset the body at times, with the proper precautions for that portion of the functioning system as the body has been warned concerning, these have brought about some bettered forces.

7. This, then, as we find conditions in the body:

8. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this shows the effect of those

3861-2 Page 2

disturbances in the eliminating system as related to the kidneys, or an OVERTAXED kidney disturbance from the torpidity or the existent condition of liver; not an organic disturbance, but changing the pressure of the blood supply through the effect that those conditions have had upon the pancreas and its functioning. Not diabetic, not wholly that that may be termed a Bright's Disease, but any ONE of these MIGHT become an element or factor, WERE the conditions to become ACUTE, or indiscretions in eating, in drinking, in smoking, or in ANY of those that affect the nerve system in such a way as to produce those of congestion in the functioning of this portion of the body.

9. The blood supply itself in the present shows a near normal, with a tendency towards that of a slowing up of pulsation.

10. Heart's action near normal.

11. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, with the nature of conditions as have existed in the physical body, [3861] we are speaking of, and as do exist, these - to be sure - play an important part, but the conditions in the nerve system are rather the results OF disorders than the causes; though they may appear often to BECOME causes from the effects as are created; as is seen, there are centers in the cerebrospinal system that are super-sensitive, and while the manipulative forces would aid at certain periods in making a quick correction for the system, this is not an osteopathic case as for the full corrective forces; rather that of the proper discretions, the proper activities physical AND mental, and the KEEPING of the body in an ACTIVE manner physically, mentally, spiritually.

12. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, brain forces are reactive to suggestions of the outside, as are seen by the manner in which the body in the last few years, especially, has attempted to doctor itself, irrespective of what others said, and often having examinations that have been found to be contradictory one to another, losing patience then at times with others, goes about its own business and gets better!

13. In the discretions of the mental activities, these are BETTER in the present than they have been in the past.

14. In the nasal and antrum, and in the soft tissue of the head, we find the effects of those repressions in system as to eliminations, and an inflammation occurs at times that causes some distress to the body. These are rather reflex in their nature, and - as has been indicated - would the body be mindful of the diet, that there are not too much sugars, too much stimuli of any nature that produces an over

fermentation so that acidity occurs, or that there is the active forces in the lobes of the liver, or that the spleen or pancreas becomes clogged with the effects of poisons or toxic forces as are not eliminated by the kidneys themselves, or the kidneys become so overtaxed that there is the effect or uraemic poisons in the system - these, then, may be clarified the best by the use of water drank that has been acted upon by radium forces that WILL ELIMINATE FROM the system those of the poisons through absorption, and ELIMINATE same through their regular channels.

15. Heart's action, as indicated.

16. Lungs show the effect of coughing at times irritation occurs, or too full of the blood that is not quick enough removed or passes through the circulation, on account of condition or congestion in liver at times.

17. Digestive system shows the effect of that old nervous indigestion, where the body run under too high a tension, and often took foods into the system that were long time in digesting. Also the effect of those conditions taken to PRODUCE a digestion. Hence an unbalancing condition exists in the stomach proper of the gastric juices of same. These in the PRESENT - right now - are near normal - they weren't yesterday - they may not be day after tomorrow! but that's another time.

18. In these active forces we find HOW suggestive forces act upon the body. Well that there be the tendency, with the diet taken - with the foods eaten, that there is a leaning toward those of the alkalin nature, see? These will prevent too much heaviness. Now, if there's too MUCH alkalin, or too much soda that would be taken, we will find this would effect the pancreas in such a way and manner as to throw back on the kidneys to cause disorders, but DO as we have OUTLINED if we would bring a near normal condition. Ready for questions.

19. (Q) Would a trip to a European country be of benefit to the body? (A) If the body begins to feel so and thinks it is, why it would be! but why make it, when he could attend to his business and drink the water in his office!

20. (Q) Who should give the occasional manipulations? (A) Daley* would be very well for this. * [8/1/62 GD's note: This man was suggested several times in the readings; we never were sure who he was or the correct spelling of his name, whether Daley, Dailey, Diehle, Dealy, etc., etc.]

21. (Q) In saying "We have the impressions of the body",

3861-2 Page 4

does that mean the body is not present at the location - (A) (Interrupting) The body is here - we have it before us now! This activity as is given here, as to the suggestions for those who would apply the manipulation - this a well BALANCED man (Daley), especially for a condition of this nature, SHOULD these be made to cooperate or coordinate. Being not only a medical, but also a good psychiatrist and of an analytical mind and nature, as well as an excellent osteopath, would make for excellent conditions for this special body.

22. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " [279] " " File
