Time of Reading ... Avenue, 3:00 P. M. Birmingham, Alabama.

1. FEM: Now, Mr. Cayce, you are going to sleep. (Pause) Now, Mr. Cayce, you are asleep. All the organs of your body will function properly, and you will hear me and answer my questions. You have before you this afternoon the body of [3877] ... Avenue, Birmingham, Alabama. Now, Mr. Cayce, tell me the physical and mental ailments that you find within this body that you have before you, and if an operation is necessary please tell me, and if not, tell me what will relieve the conditions within this body which you have before you, [3877], ... Avenue, Birmingham, Alabama.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Now, the abnormal conditions that we find in this body - [3877] we are speaking of - have to do with the functioning of the organs, both of the nerve system and the functioning of the organs that have to do with the circulation, and with the functioning of the organs directly themselves as produced by the condition of both nerve and blood supplying forces, produced by a specific condition that has brought this condition about in the body; that is an injury to the body has produced it, and all the injury we find is in the ileum plexus. See? FEM: Yes, sir.

3. Now, these are the conditions as we find them in this body; through the circulation the blood is over-charged with forces not intended to be carried to rebuilding cellular forces within the system; hence the condition produced in the capillary circulation is to over-charge forces in the body. See? FEM: Yes, sir.

4. That is to the cuticle and to portions of the body affected by this throughout the whole surface of the body, the blood has the appearance of being too much under the skin. See? FEM: Yes, sir.

5. Yes the action of the muscular forces themselves is almost of the opposite condition as existing in the body. See? FEM: Yes, sir.

6. In the nervous system we find taxed forces as produced to the cerebrospinal nerve, yet itself reaching from the ileum plexus to the first cervical plexus. This is shown to have been produced by injury to this plexus at some time back. See? FEM: Yes, sir.

7. This gives then an over-charge of blood flow to the brain force itself. It then produces a reaction in the brain forces and produces hallucinations, or the contraction of nerve and muscular forces directly opposite to the action of voluntary forces. The nerves and muscles of the voluntary movement become involuntary action within the body. See? FEM: Yes, sir.

8. The functioning of the organs themselves, we find through the digestive tract those of abnormal conditions existing; this being produced by over-taxed forces in the digestive tract, causing the action of the lymphatic forces within this portion of the body to become too full of the fluids needed to be eliminated from the system by the action of the duodenum and pancreatic forces on the liver and its secretive forces, that would be eliminated from the system. Hence we have at times an over-taxed condition existing throughout the intestinal tract, producing at times inflammation of this portion of the body; these coming from reflexed conditions, or from an over-taxed nervous system, producing inflammation through this portion of the body that must be eliminated through one or the other of the channels, either by circulatory vibration produced within the system, which will destroy these forces in the body. See? FEM: Yes, sir.

9. The conditions as we have given them here was produced by the breaking of the cells in the ileum plexus, producing pressure to the nerve forces, causing an effect on the system and the brain itself, and the condition that exists throughout the pelvis forces. See? FEM: Yes, sir.

10. To relieve the condition existing in this body we would take that into the system that would add sufficient to the blood supply to assist the forces in the blood centers that are created by the action of the digestive tract; that which

3877-1 Page 3

will cause the elimination to come through its natural channels. Each evening just before resting, or just before retiring, we would take 15 grains of common salt, dry, on the tongue and let it dissolve. See? FEM: Yes, sir.

11. Let it dissolve and be swallowed into the system itself, so that we will have more action of the salines in the system here and give the incentive to the forces as needed through the digestive tract. We would correct, through manipulation and through local treatment, the condition of the plexus center as found here in the ileum, which is just below and opposite the force as found in the sacrum. See? FEM: Yes, sir.

12. This would be done by local treatment and by manipulation to produce the correct connection between the nerve forces and the circulatory forces of the body that have been broken here in this portion of the body. Do that, if we would bring the proper equilibrium to this body through the mental forces and through the action of the cerebrospinal forces throughout the system. When we have an over-taxed, or an over supply of the nutriment that causes the condition that is produced in the system, the connection is broken between the symphatic [sympathetic?] and cerebrospinal forces where they join here in the sacrum. See? FEM: Yes, sir.

13. So -

14. (Q) Mr. Cayce, who would give these treatments of manipulation that you speak of? (A) "Mr. Cayce, who would give these treatments of manipulation that you speak of". Through osteopathic forces. Manipulation alone to the body will not relieve the condition, but it will take local treatment to the ileum plexus. See? FEM: Yes, sir. Or through the vagina here. Do this as we have given, if we would bring this body to its better self.

15. (Q) What kind of local treatments, Mr. Cayce? (A) "What kind of local treatments, Mr. Cayce". Use packs with medicated forces. See? FEM: Yes, sir.

3877-1 Page 4

By osteopathy, and through the manipulation of these portions, and adjusting these portions of the body, and by giving into the system these medicinal properties as we find in common salt, to be absorbed into the system. See? FEM: Yes, sir. See?

16. (Q) Yes, sir. You spoke of packs to be used in the vagina. What kind of packs, Mr. Cayce? (A) "You spoke of packs to be used in the vagina. What kind of packs, Mr. Cayce". Those will be used with vagina packs to adjust conditions that are torn here at the ileum plexus. We have given the conditions; follow that. We are through.

17. Now, Mr. Cayce, you will forget all about this reading you have given. You are feeling all right, and all the organs of your body function properly. You are feeling good. Now, wake up in two minutes just feeling fine and all right. .
