Time of Reading Unknown.

1. EC: Now for this specific location on this tract of land, coming from the west toward the South-East corner of land, now from this corner North by West 9 chains east. This bearing 650, then due West from this point 19/100 barleycorns East to where we have a red elm tree 4" in diameter. Here we would drill. The strata to be encountered would be after that we have given here before, first the earth and the rock then the rock where we would find it would be solid enough to drill through and then we encounter shales and other formations - we have this as we have given here before. We will reach to the depth of the first shale of a true sand in which there would be encountered first gas and oil at a depth from 496, 506'. Some waters that would be encountered would be at the lower ends of the shales here. The size of the hole or opening should be begun with 6 5/8 or 8" and set 6 5/8 casing just below on the lime that is below the shale reaching a depth to where we would set this casing of 302' or to the top where it would be used 302' 6 1/2".

2. The production that would be encountered here with a gas pressure which comes from the upper part of this before the oil in its quantities are found would be of a pressure almost one million cubic feet first but reducing fast of course without bringing the oil itself to the surface.

3. This should be used or could be used for local conditions here. The oil would be 37 barrels per day, lasting for 17 weeks before the flow would be hindered that is the pump flow by filling or cealing [sealing?] from the base of which the oil is produced then by cleaning or rasping we would bring back for 11 weeks a flow of 32, 30 to 32 barrels per day. After gas and oil is found in other portions of this field and opened there would be a gradual reduction to 3 to 5 barrels per day, the 5 first then 3, covering a period of 3 to 5 years.

4. The nearest production of gas that is found from this land we find 3/4 of a mile from the land. From the location some 19 furlongs going about nearly 3 miles from location to the nearest producing. The cost of the drilling of this well where production is now showing in gas pressure of

something like 755 cubic feet at the present was $9,725.85 for the one where we would find the shallow production here the cost will be governed by the character of the rig used. By contract it would be from $2.50 to $3.40 per foot. Casing extra, which in this location would cost on the ground approximately 85 cents per foot. The installation of pump and lines would cost 230,75,25 $420.00, while the tanks themselves may be obtained either by contract or by the loaning of others in the district of other wells. This is as we find conditions in Vinton, Ohio, one and a half hours Northwest from McArthur, Ohio, necessary for the success of this operation would be first location and outlined by specific work as has been done through some of the channels. The raising of necessary funds to guarantee the drilling operations on this property as we know from the stratum to be encountered there will only be 235' of hard lime drilling. So the time required will not be very long, less than 6 weeks. We will start drilling, follow this as we have given we will find will produce oil and gas both will be of sufficient quantities to be of commercial and very remunerative to those engaged in this. From the West line to the South-East corner West to the red elm tree 4" in diameter near there, you see. You find this will come on the edge here of the hill close to the hollow where you will have not much trouble with water obtaining water for the drilling. But above the water line that location is the correct.

5. (Q) Mr. Cayce, how close would this well be to the brick plant on this property? (A) Just across the draw from this property, but from the plant it is on the edge of the hill.

6. (Q) What direction, Mr. Cayce, from the plant? (A) We have the direction as given here from the corner of the line, the direction of the plant we have, which plant, we have the kilns, then we have the other portion of the plant, we find it here by the tree.

7. (Q) Mr. Cayce, can you give me the location of the first well next to this property from the Northwest of this property and the distance in feet? (A) We have given this, work this out yourself, you young-head, you have it.
