Time of Reading 7:00 P. M.

1. FEM: Now, Mr. Cayce, you are going to sleep. Now, Mr. Cayce, you are asleep, and all of the organs of your body will function properly; you will please hear me and answer all of my questions. You have before you the body of Mrs. [3922]. [3922]: "Miss". FEM: Oh, "Miss". [3922]: Yes. FEM: Mr. Cayce, instead of Mrs. [3922], it is Miss [3922], and the body is present in this room. Now, Mr. Cayce tell me the physical and mental ailments that you find within this body that you have before you, and if an operation is necessary tell me; and if not tell me what will relieve the condition within this body which you have before you. Miss [3922] present in this room.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Now we find there are many abnormal conditions in this body. Some conditions that would be abnormal to other bodies have come to be normal forces within this body. Those that are abnormal have to do with the circulation, the digestive forces, and the action of these over the whole system. Yet, the seat of the trouble we find to be of an organic nature; yet affecting much of the condition as exists through other portions of the body when they are functioning.

3. Now these are the conditions as we find in this body - Miss [3922] we are speaking of here: The blood we find is aenematized on account of the supply being so acted upon by the action of those forces in the system that should give more vitality to the whole blood force. There is a lack of iron in the blood force, a lack in the hemoglobin of the potent factors necessary to give all of the vitality needed to replenish the building cellular force, so that much of the action of many of the organs is diminished in their functioning ability, on account of the condition existing in the blood supply. There is not a sufficient quantity of the

3922-1 Page 2

blood forces themselves, as well as the quality is lacking in its ability to supply to the whole system those needed forces without calling upon the reserve strength of the whole system, hence the tired, debilitated feeling that expresses itself throughout the whole system, especially those parts of the body about the upper part of the trunk portion, between the shoulders, across the small of the back at times, and through the hips especially if the body stands long - see? FEM: Yes sir.

4. The nerve forces within this body are well balanced for the blood condition, although the body is aenematized; although we find that all of the functioning organs are involved in the condition existing if the nerve energy carries the body forward in much of its action through physical force. That is, the body by its own will force and strength of nerve power forces itself against the physical, to even force the physical to act at times. So we have a body well balanced in the action of all of the nervous systems, especially when we consider the condition of the functioning of the organs in the trunk portion of the body itself. In the functioning of the organs themselves, we find the brain forces acting well; those of the throat, larynx, these portions of the body in their functions accept of the condition as is affecting through the lack of vitality. There is not any functioning organic conditions that exist save reflexly through these.

5. In the intestinal tract or through the stomach itself we find first the beginning or the seat of the troubles, though the real condition exists through the pancreas and the duodenum, where the system is lacking in the force necessary to produce vital forces in the body. It will be through these forces that we must act to give the real vitality back to the system. The functioning of the liver itself we see lies dormant within its functioning organs, not giving off to the system that vitality necessary to replenish much of the functionaling conditions in the body. The action you see through the rest of the intestinal system shows a lack of forces needed to carry on intestinal digestion in its proper form and manner, hence at times the body is easily thrown into pain and misery by certain things being taken into the system for the system itself through digestive channels cannot handle or act on certain forces - you see. FEM: Yes sir.

6. Through the action of the kidneys, we find the action in

3922-1 Page 3

these in accord with the condition existing in the liver, not enough of the system being acted on by these; yet they are of sufficient character to prevent the return in the system of the poisons that would be shown through the inactivity on certain lines - you see. FEM: Yes sir.

7. That is, the secretions are very good for the excretory forces as shown in the liver itself. The poles, that is, the liver and kidneys - FEM: Yes.

8. - through the action of the hepatic circulation show a better condition than would be normally found in conditions existing in the pancreas and duodenum, as we find here. Here we find a lack of the quantity of lactic fluids needed to give to the stomach itself the proper incentive to act, or to form the digestion necessary to handle foods that would give vitality and blood force to the body to build to normal forces - see? FEM: Yes sir.

9. This is not from an organic condition that has existed itself in these organs, but of the lack of vital force in the organs themselves, produced by the condition existing through the muscular forces to give the incentives to the portion of the body - see? FEM: Yes sir.

10. Now to assist or to give to the body those properties necessary to create in this system the proper force to supply the needs of the body, we would take that in the system that will give the balance of force in the body. By force we mean the vital powers necessary to cause the proper or natural functioning of any given organ. Force to blood would be the necessary ingredients to produce the natural functioning of the circulation - see? FEM: Yes. Tincture of Valerian.........2 ounces, Bromide of Potash..........1/2 ounce, Elixir of Calisaya...........3 ounces. Sufficient simple syrup to make 7 ounces. The dose of this would be half a teaspoonful in evenings, or just before retiring. As a stimulant to the functioning of

3922-1 Page 4

the duodenum, the pancreas and the liver, and for perfect lacterial balance in the stomach itself, and to perform the correct intestinal digestion throughout the system we would take this: To one gallon of rain water we would add: Wild Cherry Bark.............4 ounces, Yellow Dock Root.............2 ounces, Bur Dock Root................2 ounces, Snake Root...................2 ounces, Elder Flower.................2 ounces. This would be reduced by boiling, very slowly, with covered top to one quart, strained and while warm add 4 ounces of grain alcohol, with three drams of tolu. The dose of this would be teaspoonful four times each day. While this is being given in the system there should be every evening and morning the spine from the first cervical to the sacrum rubbed well with cold water and then dried and rubbed with a rough coarse towel - see. FEM: Yes sir.

11. To bring to each vertebra the proper blood incentive to produce and keep the balance of circulation throughout. The diet as you will see will necessarily be very light until we produce a different condition through the duodenum and the action of the liver itself. This we will find will begin to change within five to six cycles or days - see? FEM: Yes.

12. Then we will begin by only those properties carrying little proteids and much of the force necessary to give vital action to the blood supplying force - see? FEM: Yes.

13. Then fruits that carry as much iron as possible will then be taken in the system, those especially of pears and apples that are well ripe - see? FEM: Yes.

14. But not too much, nor overload the system in the beginning. Follow these. We will find we will rebuild and give the vitality to this body again here - [3922].

15. (Q) With the treatment as you have outlined, Mr. Cayce, will it bring this body back to normal health? (A) You have just been given it.

16. (Q) Mr. Cayce, you spoke of a light diet for this body. What would that light diet consist of during this period?

3922-1 Page 5

(A) Milk, arrow root, junket, or those carrying those forms of sustenance in them.

17. (Q) How would you prepare that arrow root, Mr. Cayce? (A) Read the directions on the package. They are here; all these as we have given. We are through.

18. Now Mr. Cayce, you will forget all about this reading that you have given. You are feeling all right, and all of the organs of your body will function properly. You are feeling good. Now wake up in two minutes, just feeling fine and all right. ll right.
