1. EC: Now we have these lands here. We have had some of these before. Now in picking this tree as a starting point these lands that are underlaid with oil are those over which the pool of oil lies, does not extend in a radius of two miles around, yet some distance from direction it extends farther than that. Off to West by North, it only extends from this tree not over 700 feet, while to South and West it extends nearly two miles and one half, see, (miles now we mean). To East and North or East by North it extends a mile and a little over this, see. It is enclosed within the line of the lime upheaval about this district and lies within these domes that cover this district. East from this tree would be three quarters of a mile to the edge of the district containing the oil. Do not understand that these boundaries as we have given, that in any place within these, would there be oil found for it lies in pools within this radius, while farther to the North and East, there are other pools. These are several miles, see. The oil in this district would be encountered in the 16 to 1800 foot level depending on the over-burden in which the drilling is done. It lies within the shale belt. The gases are not as strong in each location, they being stronger to the South and West.

2. This is what we would encounter in drilling in this district: Earth and shale gradually changing to the darker shale until the depth from 30 to 110 feet when water sands would be encountered, then lime for thirty to forty feet, then changes to shale and black lime, showing some very hard formation; this would be with the shale and hard formation to 200 feet or more, 242 feet before the change would be to a softer formation, and there would be chalk lime formation encountered and some heavier lime formation with it, which would change to shale and shale and shale and shale and shale, then to lime at 15 to 1400 feet, and through this we would encounter the oil sands. There would be gas found at the end of the shales. There would be from four to three hundred barrels of high grade oil. Now this would be found in any of the dome formations from this tree. The easier or more accessible would be as we have given here, you see, on the edge or South by West on edge of the hill or anticline,

and here water could be used for drilling. Now, shale and cavings are the two things to be watched as these will be troublesome conditions to deal with.

3. (Q) What direction from this tree, Mr. Cayce, would you recommend. (A) Drill under tree if you want to or anywhere on this dome, you see, but take into consideration the water to be used for the development of the oil.

4. (Q) What would be the best location from this tree? (A) Any on this dome as we have given.

5. (Q) What direction would that be from Brompton depot? (A) We have a tree. We haven't a depot. From the tree the direction as was given would be from that particular spot to tree, from tree to that particular spot, South by West.

6. (Q) How far from tree South by West to particular spot to drill? (A) You go step it and see - 2,381 feet. We are through.
