1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time. You will diagnose the case thoroughly, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body.
2. EC: Now, we find there are conditions that may be assisted and brought nearer to the normal condition, so that the body will be freer from distress and more active, and the better forces be shown throughout the system.
3. The conditions, as we see, that need the correction, are from the combination, or the accumulation of distresses as have shown in various portions of the body through the lack of elimination and the assimilation in the system. Hence there are many portions of the body that are under distress from these conditions, as seen in the extremities, in the locomotion, and in the sensory system. So, to meet the needs of the conditions at the present time, these conditions should be applied to the body for at least four weeks:
4. Every other day, massage the whole cerebrospinal system, from the base of the head to the end of the spine, with two handsful - that is, this is the quantity to use during the massage, see? - of Balsam of Sulfur. When this has been massaged thoroughly into the body, cleanse with tepid water carrying small quantities of an antiseptic, such as is found in the regular antiseptic tablet, see? one to two gallons of water would be the quantity - tepid water, see?
5. After this has been used for this length of time, we would give that which should be used.
6. Let the diet be, during this whole period, that of easily digested foods. Nothing that will cause any constipation, but rather that of the laxative natures - using during the whole period those of the properties as are found in Petrolagar, or use that of the Russian oil, as Usoline, with small quantities of the chalk and bismuth - but this will be found prepared in Petrolagar, the alkaline properties in same, see?

7. Do that for the present.
8. (Q) What should be the dose of Petrolagar? (A) Tablespoonful once each day, taken before retiring, or at night, see?
