Time of Reading About 6 miles out from 11:20 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. R.F.D. #1, Virginia. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [3957]. Now, we find, while there are many conditions that are abnormal, in manners, there are those conditions, too, that may be be corrected and the body, through the corrections, find the physical functioning the near normal, and bringing to the body much better responses in every way.
2. In this, then, we find these conditions:
3. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY we find many of the disturbing factors, though the conditions in same are rather the result of other disturbances than the blood supply being the cause.
4. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM we find that that reflects most of the disturbances, both to the functioning organs and that that causes distresses in the physical functioning. Through the improper impulses, then, from segmentations, or from the centers where the pressure has so impinged muscular tissue, or those of ganglia that are under suppression, as to produce the disturbances that gradually enlarged upon by improper functioning brings the disturbances to the body. These, as we find, are principally those in the upper cervical, as affect those of the throat, bronchials, and the sensory system, and those of the upper lumbar, as brings disturbance to the lower hepatic circulation. Hence the conditions as have and do exist regarding the disturbances in organs, though not organic conditions, but in the functioning of same from those of the regions that are supplied, especially, by these centers.
5. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF ORGANS THEMSELVES - these, in the nature of the conditions, show the effect as is produced in the blood supply, in the manner same acts with the circulatory system, especially that of the lymphatic circulation, or the hepatics, in the lower portion, and those of the mucus producing portions in the upper part of body.
6. In meeting the needs of the conditions, then, for the
3957-1 Page 2
body, and in making the proper corrections for same, necessary that the inflammations that are produced by the activity of the functioning of organs, through the distresses produced, be taken into consideration, as well as the corrections as should be made, especially in the cervical and lumbar, and lower dorsal regions. These, we would make the corrections in the osteopathic manner. Those in the medicinal properties to meet the needs of the conditions must carry in themselves those properties as to stimulate, as well as act in the manner of bringing to the system the proper vibration in centers as corrections are made, that that added to the system through same may be in the proper manner of coordinating and cooperating with the active forces of the body. The medicinal properties, then, we would prepare in this manner: First we would take plain garden sage, preferably dried, 6 ounces to 16 ounces of distilled water. Reduce by simmering, not boiling, to 1/2 the quantity. Then add pure grain alcohol, or 85% pure, 1 ounce. Oil of Juniper 1/2 dram. Dissolving 15 grains of ambergris in 1/2 ounce of grain alcohol. Adding also that of simple syrup 4 ounces, and Cinnamon (preferably in the stick) 1 dram. Shake solution well together before the dose is taken, which should be half a teaspoon half an hour before the meals. Let the meals or the diet consist principally of those foods that DO NOT produce too much bulk in the body, or of near predigested foods. Of fruit, those that are of the climate of which the body is an active part - save of citrous fruits; these may be taken in moderation. The oils of nuts should be the fats for the body. Those of the carrying of the powers to assist in blood building should be those that grow principally above the ground. Iron and the active forces as build in same should be considered with the diet.
7. The applications for the corrections should be made at least twice each week until there is the proper elasticity in those centers in the cervical and lumbar regions; requiring, then, at least thirty-six to forty-eight such treatments. Ready for questions.
8. (Q) Would roasting ears and watermelons be detrimental as part of the diet? (A) Roasting ears that are boiled are helpful. Fried, detrimental. Watermelon, fresh, is helpful. Old, or stored, detrimental. These, of course, in moderation - for one is an active principle directly (that is, the roasting ear) to the activity of the upper hepatic circulation, while the other is an active principle to the activity of the lower hepatic circulation. This quite helpful in

moderation.
9. That is all the questions.
10. Do that and we will find much better responses to the physical activities of this body, [3957]. We are through. Copy to Cayce Hospital
