1. EC: Now, we find there are abnormal conditions that create in the system other conditions that are and are becoming abnormal. We have specific conditions that the effect from this is in the functioning organs, and to reach the condition in the physical, that this abnormal functioning of organs may be assisted, we must to relieve the condition reach the seat or cause of those conditions.

2. Now, these are conditions as we find them in this body, [3959] we are speaking of, present in this room. First:

3. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, in quantity very good. In quality deficient, for there is carried in the circulation some of those properties that should be eliminated in organs through which the elimination of different conditions should take place. With this overcharge, or organs in their functioning being abnormal, the conditions not eliminated from the blood supply, and hence becomes in the system that which causes distress to other organs by being overcharged with these toxins and bacilli. There is deficiency in numbers of leucocyte proper. Red blood cells below normal. White in normal forces.

4. IN THE NERVE FORCE, we find as these:

5. There are centers that show in times back they have been impinioned, and the direct cause of much of the distress through the digestive tract and through the pancreas, liver and hepatic circulation is caused by this first impinionment, and with the constant strain on these centers the organs have become involved. First by condition created in circulation and nerve action of the organ proper, then of that condition as is and was produced by this derangement, as it were, in the functioning system. In the ganglia about the eighth and ninth dorsal do we find this condition, and the segment is pressed in. Hence the condition in the hypogastric center is reached through a branch of the solar plexus nerve center and its branches in this region, and the effect as produced by this pressure causes much of the troubles. In the sympathetic system these become involved in the reflex actions only, and the sensory organism in the

organs of this system at times show the overcharge of the nerve system from this center.

6. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, brain forces very good.

7. Organs of the sensory system as given, under strain at times.

8. Throat, lungs, larynx some abnormal conditions, some that have become normal to this body in these actions and functionings of these portions. Lungs very good. Bronchials, larynx congested, an extra amount of secretions at times is thrown off with excess of circulation under stress, or under pain as shows in the system at times. Again it produces the opposite condition, and a dryness to the throat, bronchials, larynx.

9. Heart action normal and subnormal.

10. In digestive tract we find much condition produced by the strain on hypogastric, and at times on pneumogastric centers, and in duodenum some lacerations produced by taxing of the system under the strain of nerve and of acid reaction from pancreas and of liver. In the pancreas itself engorged somewhat. In liver shows the excretory system being clogged by the strain on the body, yet not organically deranged, though in its functioning it is depressed, and the right lobe shows engorgement. The upper circulation and digestion in intestines shows at the present time under stress of hepatics; that is, the circulation through hepatics being overcharged by the non-excretions in the liver. Kidneys we find function above normal and again subnormal, according to the strain on hypogastric center. In the lower digestion we find with the high hepatics the digestive tract does not give sufficient secretions for the normal functioning of the dross from the system to be eliminated. Hence some toxins that form in the colon give stress and distress to the portion of the body along the right side and lower down across the pelvis region. These are reflexes, and may be corrected from exterior forces.

11. To bring then the normal to this body, which may be done through persistence and through consistent action of the physical forces, first we must take in the system those properties that will give the correct incentive for the functioning of the organs involved in their abnormal functioning at present. Then correct that condition in the spinal column, and in the nerve centers of the spinal column, that produces the condition and brings the organs under strain.

12. Take then in the system this: To one gallon of rain water, add:

3959-1 Page 3

Wild Cherry bark..........2 ounces, Yellow Dock Root..........2 ounces, Burdock Root..............2 ounces, Yellow Root...............2 ounces, Mandrake Root............20 grains, Calisaya Bark.............1 ounce, Buchu Leaves.............30 grains.

13. Reduce by simmering (not boiling) to one quart. Strain while warm and add two drams of Balsam of Tolu cut in four ounces of grain alcohol. The dose will be two teaspoonsful three times each day, before meals, and EAT the meals, but do not ever over crowd the digestive tract. Do not eat of meats except very sparingly, and that of fish or fowl, eating green vegetable matter, with not too much grease ever in them. Cereal and fruit diet.

14. Then at the same time this is being taken, or after the eighth dose is taken, take those adjustments through the osteopathic forces that will correct the condition in the dorsal region and relax the tautness in the abdominal region, about the right side and the upper portion of left side, near the diaphragm line.

15. Do this, and we will find by the time the second quantity is taken, and ten osteopathic treatments are taken (provided the body does not strain the system), the body will be near the normal.
