1. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Now, the abnormal conditions as we find in this body has to do with the nerve forces in the system and the improper coordinating of the nervous system with the cerebrospinal or conscious forces as they have to do in their functioning with the forces of the body.

2. Now, these are conditions as we find in this body, here, [3962] we are speaking of. In the blood supply we find the body has very poor assimilation and the vibrations and eliminations are not in their normal functioning of the organs that have to do with this, that is, as controlled wholly by the blood forces of the system, the blood lacking much in its elemental forces to give the proper incentives to the system in many portions of the body. The number of red blood cells are deficient as also the white. The blood shows the signs of those properties taken in the system that make an over-stimulus to the lymphatic circulation. Through the nerve forces of this body we find the brain forces do not coordinate with that of the sympathetic nervous system so that with the vibrations as reach the cell forces from those of the mind action or as sensed by the action of the sensory system does not coordinate in its full capacity. They reach to the mind forces and its activity but not in its proper manner for as we see it the first cervical there is a hindrance to this portion of the body and makes a congestion of the forces to reach in and give its proper incentive to nerve forces, it affecting both the sensory system in the nerve reaction and the functioning organs of the body in that they, the organs, become dull or laggard in their expressions or manifestations to the body itself, so the body becomes incapable of the discerning forces between the action of the mental and of the sympathetic forces in the system, it being affected then from the first cervical, the first, second, third and fourth dorsal, these being the centers that show their reaction, as also, in the solar plexus or that, that governs the pneumogastric nerve forces to the trunk portion of the body from the head itself, so that it becomes, through its manifestation, the inability of the individual to express themselves fully through any of

the channels through which the auditory forces are expressed, though with the supersensitive forces in the body of the surcharged sympathetic system. There are many times when the individual gives a very wonderful manifestation of individual expressions of self.

3. In the functioning of the organs themselves we find through the sensory system the disposition, as it were, of each organ to find its expression in its individual self as such as we see through the eye, through the ear, through the taste or through any expression to give to the body, yet they are often even exaggerated in their expressions of same. Through the action of the hepatic circulation we find the reaction of the forces as expressed to these organs of the circulation by the condition as created in nerve centers through the pneumogastric, so we have the dull, laggard condition in expressiveness of the functioning organ itself, save as produced by those elements that go to excite the secretive glands affecting the organ where we have rather the action than the direct action with the organ functioning, even than through its channel, and we create rather an excessive secretion through the duodenum and the peyerian glands, than through the emunctories of the organs either through the liver or kidneys.

4. To bring to this body that of the coordinating forces within the system and to make the sure or certain connections within the brain action, the nervous systems coordinating, it would be first necessary to create at the first cervical, the proper connections between the cerebrospinal and the sympathetic system, for here we find the sympathetic nerves, the pneumogastric nerves, the perineurial nerves directly enter the cerebellum or lower brain and with this lesion that was formed there from the congenital condition as produced there at that time, these must be so that we will reach or connect or make the perfect unison through these. These we would find by relaxing by heat applied directly to the first cervical and of course, relaxing the whole cervical region to make all of the coordinating forces in the sensory system both of direct or of indirect circulation either in nerve or blood force to all of the organs of the sensory system and to the brain itself proper, you see, by heat applied and by deep manipulation and adjustments through manipulation as would be found through osteopathic forces, and we will find the better training of the nerve forces and mind at the "Still-Hildreth Hospital", here, you see. Do that.

5. (Q) Mr. Cayce, how long would it require to accomplish results to bring this body to normal health?

3962-1 Page 3

(A) The adjustments with the connection so that normal flow of secretions would be made within three to four months for the development of the trained forces to take up their normal action of that the gradual growth would be of a normal growth, two or three months longer, you see.

6. (Q) Could the osteopath bring this about without sending him to Still-Hildreth Hospital? (A) The training forces for the development of the conditions is as necessary as the correct adjustments as heat. The preparations are not made here for the heat for the adjustments as well as it is at the Still-Hildreth Hospital. We would find skilled and competent men here but not the trained forces as we would find here, Still-Hildreth Hospital, Macon, Missouri.

7. (Q) Mr. Cayce, this body will not have any medicines as I understand? (A) Very good understanding.

8. (Q) What about the diet, Mr. Cayce? (A) That will be connected with the treatments as they are given through trained forces or minds. We follow those. We are through.
