1. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Now, we find there are conditions as cause or produce disturbances in the physical functioning of the body. These, as we find, are rather disturbing in functioning than of organic disorders. There are many conditions that are very good in the physical organism, but the disturbances produce rather that in the activity of the glands that make for a creation of the elements as produce BUILDING forces in the system. Hence the condition may be termed rather that of an AGGRAVATING condition where INFLAMMATION is produced; not by the activity of the gland as the LACK of activity in same. While the conditions are not wholly that which may be termed a drying up of the muco-membrane tissue as supplies to the nutriments of the system, yet it is NEARER that of the atrophy, or tendency towards same, than of plethora, or an over ABUNDANT supply as sometimes exists, even under the CHARACTER of the condition as produces the disturbance. The disturbance, then, is that where infection is carried in the system from the lack of this exercising of the functionings OF glands as in these.

2. In the digestive system we find that condition wherein there is not an even balancing between those of the lacteals, or the acid and the alkalin. This BEGINS in the salivary glands, where not sufficient of the lactics or of the non-acids mix properly with the food values. Hence we have acidity predominant at times; then we have again an over-abundance of the NON-acid in the system. Hence the pains as come to the extremities, as in arms, as in shoulders, as in the lower limbs - these are as the reflexes of the disturbance of the glands, produced by this non-activity through this portion of system as given, until they act with the lacteals; so that neuritis, or neurosis, or the effect of nerve tension in portions of the system becomes the results of same. This makes for those conditions as arise in throat at times; the insomnia as

3988-1 Page 2

prevents the normal rest for resuscitating forces, coming mostly with the activities of the glands, becoming active through the dormancy of the sensory forces, becoming active forces rather than the waking forces in the body. These also show themselves through those glands in the reproductive system, so that irritations arise from the false pelvic organs from this lack of muco-membrane activity; so that a tendency for the dryness to the system, the variation as this has in the system, or the effects as produced from the active forces in the eliminations, where over-abundance in the eliminations in menses - and again the recess, or the lack OF and the improper PERIODS - become the activities from these general distresses, as come from an unbalanced system. A form, then, of catarrhal condition, but rather that of the DRY than the effluvial, or abundant, or plethoral activity of the portions of system as are affected by same. Ordinarily we find with such conditions that there is an anemia that goes with same, this in the blood supply itself. This, as we find, is APPARENT, but as yet has not reached the condition where the system has adjusted itself TO such conditions. Hence is rather spasmodic in its relationship to the system. Hence we have a VARYING pulsation, so that the heart's action itself varies as to the respiratory activity of the system; as we have at times shortness of breath, again it is easier to gain a long deep breath, as inhalation, while exhalation at such periods feels as if PAINS - or depressions through the respiratory system. These are effects of the lack of lymph and emunctory circulation.

3. In meeting, then, the needs of the conditions for this body, [3988] we will find that will there be added to the system those properties as will change the VIBRATIONS IN the system - so that eliminations are normally carried forward, so that assimilations produce more activity in the muco-membrane active forces of the system - these will create FOR the body an even balance within the system; relieving these tensions in the nerve supply, relieving those pressures and those uneasy feelings as are experienced by the body in many directions, relieving that distress or tendency for the body to become neurotic in its activity, relieving those pressures that make for DRUMMINGS for the nerve system - as related to the sensory system, as when those noises come for the ear at times, that dryness when ready for speech, that condition of fear as comes over the system at periods then suddenly aroused from reverie or from sleep, or from any unseeming activity. These, as we find, may be added to the system by the addition of those

3988-1 Page 3

properties as are lacking for the glands' functioning. These, as we find, would be better in those of the Atomidine, taken in the way and manner as to become absorbent and assimilated for the system without producing or causing the arising of irritations to the capillary circulation.

4. Then, we would begin with three to five drops of Atomidine twice each day. We would take it for a period of five to six days, then REST a period of three to four days. DURING that period of rest we would take those manipulations or massage as would gently make for coordinating of centers along the cerebrospinal system, stimulating the impulses from the various nerve plexus to the activities of first the circulation to the throat and head, second to those of the upper portion of the diaphragm, or the lower portion of lung and heart's activity, next to those of the solar plexus center, where we will meet with those that make for the functioning - that is, the SYMPATHETIC functioning - through impulse to the organs of digestions and the upper portion of the pelvis and eliminating centers. Then those of the lower lumbar as would make for the relief of pressures in the lower extremities and for the pelvic functionings. These we would take each day during that three to four day period. Then rest from these and begin a period of taking the Atomidine again, which is to STIMULATE the functioning of the glands of the system. We will find that with the proper precautions as to the diet, that make for the regular BUILDING of blood supply, normalcy of the nerve system, then we will make for a normal condition in this body, [3988] we are speaking of.

5. (Q) How long should this treatment be kept? (A) Until the body KNOWS that it has been properly balanced in its activities, and there are no returns or those disorders that act in the extremities, especially in the nerve forces of the extremities.

6. (Q) Will this monthly condition the body has been having clear up soon? (A) As we will find, with the taking of these properties and these manipulations - and we would take these osteopathically, but more the massage than the correction of vertebrae centers, see; one that would work in conjunction with that as being given - that by the second month these conditions should be near normal. These may be expected as flushes coming at times, but these should clear to near a normal condition.

These taken, now, in the way and manner as given - first the

Atomidine that will add iodine to the system that is assimilated with the system, reduces the potash and adds to the ability of the lymph and the muco-membranes of the system to secrete proper secretions for the functioning of organs; then the manipulations - or PERIODS of manipulations - that, with the massage, making coordination of IMPULSES in centers along the cerebrospinal and sympathetic system, that make for UNISON in functioning. Do that. We will find READY relief. We are through for the present.
