... Hotel, Time of Reading Room 31, 11:20 to 11:30 A. M. Eastern War Time. ..., Va.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have had this room before but not this person [See 4029-1, Par. B1].

3. We have the body here [4029].

4. As we find there are disturbing conditions. Much of this has to do with incoordinations that exist between the cerebrospinal system and the sympathetic system. These have much to do with the imaginative body, as well as the sensory forces, and they affect the organs of the central nervous and blood supply; principally here in the present, the lungs, the bronchi and trachea; yet naturally these affect the pulsation, the activity of the liver and the kidneys.

5. As we find, if the environment would be changed for this body, especially for some six to ten weeks to such an environment as Arizona, the body would be able to return to these environs without disturbances of the asthmatic nature or the spasms in the bronchi and trachea, the lungs and other organs; provided the mental activities are kept in much better accord.

6. These will be better established by the variation in the pressures that are a part of the atmospheric reaction, as well as the change that will be made in diet.

7. Leave off all kinds of sugar.

8. Do take often such as rhubarb, prunes; prune whip, prune juice, prunes prepared in every manner. These would be better for the body for the eliminations, even in the changes that will be necessary if there is to be kept a balance between the sympathetic and cerebrospinal system.

For these are producing the mental reactions to the body.

9. Do that.

10. Ready for questions.

11. (Q) What produces the asthmatic condition? (A) The incoordination between the cerebrospinal and sympathetic nerve system in the brachial center or the upper dorsal, and the pressures, the mental attitude - all of these have their part. Thus the change in the atmospheric pressure as well as the environs will be necessary if there is to be brought any semblance of a balance between these two systems of the body.

12. (Q) Any special treatments needed? (A) A gentle massage, but diet and the environs are more important.

13. (Q) To what is she allergic? (A) Any of those things creating dust, but most is in the suggestions. For whenever there is any reference in conversation to activities pertaining to self and relations with others, it sets off this incoordination in the brachial center.

14. (Q) What can be done to help the nervous condition? (A) This is part of the pressure. Change the atmospheric pressure, as well as giving the massage and the proper diet.

15. (Q) What particular diet is recommended? (A) Let those things indicated be the principal part of the diet daily, then a regular diet that keeps a good balance in supplying the elements for the proper nourishment of the body.

16. (Q) Who would you recommend to give the massage? (A) Anyone in those environs recommended, not in the present environs?

17. (Q) How can her son best help the body? (A) Through suggestions and obtaining the willingness to try the new environ. Conditions near Casa Grande would be well - these are the right types of environs, and arrangements can be made there.

18. (Q) Any other advice? (A) Unless these changes are brought about, these disturbances would be very serious - and the mental and physical will not stand these strains.

19. We are through for the present. [See GD's note below.] Copy to Son " " Ass'n file " under case number for indexing (4/5/44 GD's note: We would like to refer you to two of our Members in the vicinity recommended for you, in case you
