Time of Reading In his office, Set bet. 3:30 to 4:30 P. M. Chemical Taken 3:40 to 3:55 P. M. Eastern War Time. Engineering Dept.

1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also suggestions for help and relief of this body; answering questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body, [4047].

3. In giving the analysis of the physical disturbance here, we find that there are very definite disturbances. Owing to the positions and the activities of the body, there has come near the waistline in the cerebrospinal system a pressure producing a lesion. This being in association with the sympathetic and cerebrospinal systems, disturbances are produced in the sensory organisms; affecting the lymph circulation, as indicated in the type of sinus disturbances that occur.

4. These pressures also are of such natures and in those areas where they affect, through the central nervous system and blood supply to organs, the liver and its activity as related to the production or distributing through and with the digestive forces, in the activities through the jejunum or upper portion of the alimentary canal; producing the tendencies towards acidity - as the ducts and glands that supply with the excretions of the liver.

5. Thus the disturbances having to do with with tendencies for colds, for acidity; at times a very tired "all over" feeling. It is not so distressing as yet as to cause acute conditions, but may with the upsettings through the digestive body; as those things that might produce excess acidity, or excesses in carbohydrates, may cause an acute disturbance.

6. First we find that there should be several osteopathic adjustments, which means more than three and less than

twelve; with special reference to clarifying these disturbances, equalizing the pressures through the whole cerebrospinal system, emptying the gall duct osteopathically.

7. Thus we would bring better conditions for this body.

8. Ready for questions.

9. (Q) Is the climate of ..., Texas satisfactory and should I remain here? (A) The climatic conditions here are not the basis of the trouble. They body can adjust itself. As we have indicated bodies can usually adjust themselves to climatic conditions if they adhere to the diet and activities, or all characters of foods that are produced in the area where they reside. This will more quickly adjust a body to any particular area or climate than any other thing.

10. (Q) Is a diet composed mainly of fruits, vegetables, eggs, and milk the best diet for me? (A) As indicated, use more of the products of the soil that are grown in the immediate vicinity. These are better for the body than any specific set of fruits, vegetables, grasses or what not. We would add more of the original source of proteins.

11. (Q) Is smoking detrimental? (A) If smoking is done in moderation it is not too detrimental to the body. Do not overdo it.

12. (Q) Are daily heavy chocolate malted milks detrimental? (A) Chocolate that is prepared in the present is not best for ANY diet. This, too, the chocolate is not produced in the vicinity of ... Those foods that may be taken from the vicinity or food values of that nature are the better. Take plenty of milk - you will find some of that around ...

13. (Q) Is beer in the amounts I have been drinking it detrimental? (A) Do not use any of those things made from hops!

14. (Q) Will these treatments alleviate my nervous tension? (A) They will alleviate the nervous tension. Do as has been indicated.
