Time of Reading Bloomingdale Hosp., 3:45 to 4:25 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. White Plains, N.Y. (Physical Suggestion, including mental and questions by her mother).
1. EC: Yes, we have those conditions, those circumstances physical and mental that surround this body, [4100].
2. Now, as we find, to a student of life's projection in this material plane this entity would prove a most interesting subject, from the view of the life's disturbance and the conditions that exist between the creature and the Creator.
3. While the relations and conditions are such from the material standpoint as to cause wonder, how many have they made thankful for their own relations and abilities? and what have those that thought done concerning THEIR relations to their fellowman, from their observation? Much has been gained here.
4. In the physical and mental conditions with this body, [4100], we find there is the lack of coordination between the expressive forces in the imaginative or sympathetic and cerebrospinal system; so that the reactions which occur from the activities of the body-mental, the body-physical, are out of accord with that ordinarily seen in the activities of one endowed with the physical abilities and the reactions to same.
5. This condition, as we find, has been brought on by those external influences that affect the coordinating between the sympathetic and cerebrospinal, in the cervical region and area. This has not prevented the reactions to the system in the activities of the cerebrospinal or the physical body, and much of that which recurs, or the concurrent activity with the sympathetic and cerebrospinal, yet their reactions to the brain centers themselves (from which there is received the responses to the sensory organism) show that, while there ARE reactions, there are the inabilities for their correspondent effect upon the manner in which these
4100-1 Page 2
responses are made. These effects are seen more in the activities of the sensory system; as in sight, speech, hearing, feeling, all find a response, but not in a coordinative way and manner; and since these do not find their concordant activity, the responses are as of one BLANK, or unmindful of those activities that are brought to the body in an ordinary way or manner. There are responses, though, as there may be pointed out to the body those activities of any nature pertaining to purely the physical revibrations, or the physical activities, and these will be carried on in the manner designated without change.
6. In reaction to those conditions or elements that may be visioned in the system, by the activities of the responses in motion, hearing, vision or activity, these find a ready response; but to coordinate, or to correlate, or to give the proper distribution of valuations to the activity of self, these are lacking as for those coordinations in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd cervical, with the brain centers that have become more or less of a dormant activity in their response.
7. As we find, these conditions (though set much in inactivity) may be aided, and a change brought about that would be helpful, provided all the responses that are about the body are kept in accord with that attempted to be accomplished in producing a change in the coordination.
8. Please understand these relations, and do not make the latter estate for the body worse than the present.
9. In the application of properties, then, there may be added those elements to the system carrying those vibrations of the nature that give stamen, and that produce the reaction in the coordinating forces of matter in brain cell activity. These elements may be had through a low form of electrical vibration that may be set up in the wet cell appliance, which may be applied to the system in such a manner that the intake and outflow of the blood supply to the brain forces would build in those centers that which would make for a coordinating in the sensory forces, or imaginative forces, as to make a response in the activities to the physical organism, or the physical forces of the body.
10. This appliance would be made in that form that is set out, one of the copper, the other of the nickel. In the nickel anode or lead there would be set those that would carry the Gold solution into the system, through the plain charging; not charge this in the solution, but the charged solution from the battery itself being carried to the 1st and 2nd dorsal, see? That anode passing through the Gold would be attached first, at the 1st and 2nd cervical, so
4100-1 Page 3
that the pulsations from the heart make the proper coordination or carrying of the vibrations to the brain centers themselves.
11. This done once every other day would begin to show effects upon the body in fifteen to twenty days. This doesn't mean that it would be cured; doesn't mean that it would even create the reactions other than a change in the attitude of the mental forces of the body, see?
12. Then, that to beware of in such an application:
13. Unless those that surround the body, and that make the applications to the body for such a change, are in accord with those forces that make for a better understanding and correlation of the relationships of the conditions in a creative force that may be active in a system (and UNDERSTAND such, so that the activities toward the body in speech and in action are in accord with those creative forces in a material world), they would produce greater destructive forces for the body than were it left in its normal or present condition; but with the carrying of these forces for eighteen months to two and a half years with the carrying of the mental, the physical, and the spiritual applications of those as to what is right and wrong, what in moral activities are in keeping with that constructive and creative in its element, we will make a balanced body.
14. Ready for questions.
15. (Q) How long should this battery be applied at a time? (A) From twenty to thirty minutes every other day.
16. (Q) How long should the battery be continued before having a check reading? (A) Fifteen to twenty days; for those are the periods when changes would come, which will be in cycles of seven.
17. (Q) Will the finances of the family permit my daughter to stay at Bloomingdale Hospital - how long? (A) This will depend upon many conditions. If there are to be applied those conditions that would make for the bringing about of such changes that are asked for, for making a balance in this body, it is not necessary to remain in this place, provided there are those conditions set in motion, that there may be an attendant, in some quiet place where these may be carried on. As to remaining as at present, as we find, the financial conditions for the present would permit. This condition may change later, dependent upon many material things outside.
18. (Q) What physician could carry out this treatment? (A) It is not necessary for a physician; rather one that is endowed with the love of their fellow man, and respect for their God and their relation to sincerity and truth. Then,
4100-1 Page 4
a nurse is needed rather than a doctor.
19. (Q) To what extent can she be rehabilitated? (A) About 99 and 44/100 percent.
20. (Q) Will she ever recover sufficiently for her to live away from a hospital? (A) It can be done now, if put under the proper precautions or conditions.
21. (Q) What has the winter in store for her? (A) That depends, as it does upon that relationship as given, upon what others do in respect to that condition which to them seems and appears so uncalled for. Are they in an attitude of resentment at the acts of the Infinite, or are they a living representation of their meagre, feeble efforts to do whatever their abilities allow them to do in regard to it? or is it said, "What can I do about it? Let those that are prepared take care." This, then, makes for such conditions as to what will ANY period mean to this soul!
22. (Q) Can I live with her - where - when? (A) To be sure, not under the present existent conditions; neither would it be better in the developing if there were to be changes made for the rehabilitation of the body, mentally, spiritually, and physical coordination, but rather that there be chosen such surroundings that these things may be known among men!
23. (Q) Would it be advisable for me at this time to take my daughter away from her present surroundings, to the seashore or some great outdoor where she reacts so beneficially? (A) This has been given. If there are the proper surroundings created for the body, then it would be well to change. If these are not to be made, don't change! for they are well suited to much of the physical conditions.
24. (Q) Is Hall 8, where my daughter lives at present, as good or better than the Solarium? (A) The Solarium is better; of course, the body is happier there, but the material surroundings, or those conditions that become necessary under the financial, mental and other conditions, these are very well - when considered purely from the material viewpoint.
25. (Q) Are my visits helping or retarding my daughter? (A) Helping, whenever there is helpfulness held; for the body responds very much to a great deal it is not accredited with! What to do with it, is what it doesn't know!
26. (Q) Is my daughter conscious of the fact that it is her mother who visits her when I come there? (A) Often it is days before she becomes conscious as to just who it is, but the consciousness is there! It is being
4100-1 Page 5
builded! All the good that may be done for this body will not be lost; for even at this hour it would be well to consider and to take note of the change in demeanor of the body, during this next twenty minutes. [Aunt [2118] who was present [during 4100-1] reported: "Most wonderful thing I ever saw. Marvelous!" She later phoned N.Y. and [4100]'s mother said that around 4 o'clock or a little after, a change did take place in [4100]'s demeanor, so much so that she couldn't keep from noticing it. She suddenly became completely calm and smiled - which was very unusual, a rare thing for her to do.]
27. (Q) Does it make her sad or glad, and is she desirous though unable to make her thoughts and emotions known to me? (A) It makes her glad when good comes; sad when misunderstood or misinterpreted, for it is no different!
28. (Q) What are the thoughts most prevalent in my daughter's mind generally? (A) Attempting to correlate; or this may be an illustration: What are the thoughts to a normal mind when there is being attempted to be explained some theorem respecting relativity of active forces in the spiritual; not the mental or material world, but in the spiritual world, to one that has had little thought or opportunity for such training? Much of the same condition! It is known, but - as described by that given - the ability to give expression to that which passes on is broken. The activities of that given to create those feelers in a material body, or to bring about - as it were - the correlating of a short circuit in the conditions between a well balanced mental and a well balanced physical mind.
29. (Q) Who would you advise as an attendant or nurse for this body? (A) Anyone who has those attributes as given, that is patient, kind, who has a reverence for the love that may be shown in its fellow man, and who loves God and escheweth evil.
