1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly and tell me the conditions you find at the present time. You will give the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body.
2. EC: Now we find the body very good in many respects. There are some abnormal conditions and these may be corrected. They have to do with conditions that affect the rebuilding supply in the system, and the functioning of organs under the strain as caused by toxins as absorbed, or as affect the system.
3. Now these are conditions as we find them in this body, [4118], present in this room.
4. First:
5. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this we find deficient in quantity rather than the quality, for where the system is affected the body does not create sufficient blood in the system to supply the needs. Hence the debilitation at times and the easy taxing of the system, the over strain, the susceptibility of the body to congestion over the whole system.
6. In the division in white and red blood supply we find this very good, or the condition would become more exaggerated.
7. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, in this we find the taxing to a great extent to the cerebrospinal more than to the sympathetic and sensory. Hence the ability for the body to at times, through sheer will, carry the forces of the system when the physical seems to have gone the extent of its endurance, yet this does not benefit the system, oftentimes straining the system more.
8. In the cerebrospinal, this affects digestion, affects locomotion, affects the body in the functioning in eliminations, for the conditions that produce the troubles come more to the hypogastrics of the body; that is, the tissue, the portion of the system through the intestines and in the mesenteric glands show the effect of the toxins.

Hence there are in the dorsal regions, and especially about the solar plexus, the conditions produced by the system attempting to ward off conditions.
9. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS, brain forces very good. One given much to detail and minutia.
10. In sensory system taxation to the organs through depleted nerve energy rather than functional conditions in organs proper.
11. In throat, lungs and bronchials, much of the same disturbance as is shown in their hypogastric secretions; that is, at times, we have a full secretion, again throat, lungs and bronchials feel and appear over dry.
12. In intestinal tract we find the seat of the troubles. Hence the digestion is more of a nerve digestion than indigestion, yet much of the foods taken in system does not give the values to the body as it should, on account of the poor assimilation, caused in the digestive tract from toxins absorbed about the Peyer's Gland and about the lacteal secretions and ducts. In the system these become the troublesome conditions to the body.
13. In the spleen, this larger than normal, though not so for conditions of the body.
14. The liver not active as should be, yet under the strain gives a full left lobe and the decrease in right. The emunctories overtaxed and the secretive undernourished.
15. In the kidneys, these become over-strained through eliminations at times. At other times we find there come distresses, yet not taxed by activity in excretory functioning.
16. Then to give the relief to the body, and to bring the normal conditions for the system, take consistently and persistently these properties in the system.
17. First: To one gallon of rain water add: 8 ounces Common Garden Sage (dried). Reduce by simmering (not boiling) to 1 quart. Strain while warm. Then add: 4 ounces of Beet Sugar, dissolved in 1 ounce of very hot water. 15 grains of Ambergris, dissolved in 1 ounce of grain alcohol. 4 ounces of Gin, preferably Gordon Dry Gin. 2 minims Oil of Peppermint, with 1 minim Essence of Cinnamon.

Shake well together each time before the dose is taken, which would be two teaspoonfuls just before each meal. EAT the meals, and in diet adhere closely to these:
18. Mornings: Fruit of any character, especially citrous fruits, with whole wheat gruel, dry wheat whole, rolled or crushed and cooked very thoroughly, with heavy cream, but little sugar.
19. In the middle of day, lots of milk and eggs, preferably raw.
20. Evening: Fish or fowl in meats, and vegetables, especially those that grow above the ground, using beef juices. This should be taken at least three times each week, at evening meals.
21. The osteopathic adjustments in the dorsal region to produce assimilation, as well as eliminations.
22. We will find by the time the second quantity of medicinal properties are taken the body will gain weight, be normal in eliminations and in the vital forces in the body.
23. Do that.
24. (Q) How often should the osteopathic treatments be given? (A) Twice a week would be sufficient. Might give to the beginning with these at least every day for four or five. Take sixteen to eighteen osteopathic treatments in all. Keep up medicinal properties afterwards, and diet, and exercise after osteopathic treatments are abated or stopped. Exercise should be consistent and persistent, those taken in evening just before retiring. Do these. We will bring the body to the normal forces.
25. We are through for the present.
