Time of Reading Unknown.

1. GKN: Now Mr. Cayce you have before you the following acreage in Christian County, Ky., about 8 and one half miles north of Hopkinsville, on the Greenville Pike; belonging to: C. C. Jones 96 acres J. T. Underwood 230 " S. T. Myers 209 " Joe Bradley 100 " Albert Galbreath 100 " Jessie Green 139 " Jessie Martin 150 " John Wynne 278 " J. B. Atkinson 160 " Mrs. M. J. Walker & heirs 250 " Luther Walker 196 " You will tell us if there is any oil on this acreage and where to locate it.

2. EC: This will all have to be taken separately, as we have the acreage here, see?

3. Now through this district, or this county, we have several pools of oil, then some strata of oil, many of them would be pay production, many of them would not be unless they were handled and run under one head. Many of the smaller pools would be pumped from one central station.

4. Now the direction that this comes from this acreage, is from the north east toward the south west in a general direction. So in this place of acreage the Wynne place becomes the central, or turning point in this field; so that toward the Jones is not so good for the production. So that the line toward the north and west is not as good for production, as we only have some in the south east part of the Jones tract. While that lying closer to the road which divides between them is a better place for drilling wells. In all of this acreage we would find some production. There are different depths as there are three distinct sands in this County, see?

5. In this district as outlined here we have two productive sands, one dead or non-producing in paying quantity. That lying toward the south of this group on the Martin tract is the only one reaching near the three producing sands. In some of this district there will be a great deal of trouble in drilling.

6. As to where to drill we would say on the Wynne tract. Lying toward the east by north from the residence on this far you see, we have a spring or stream coming through this field there; is a great deal of loose sand and lime mixed with rock on the hill opposite on the north. On this hill, which is barren in a way, we would say would be the best place to locate for sure production. In this we will find production at 1875 ft. down from the top. When it first comes in there will be 50 barrels a day, reducing to 30, 25 and 20. The exact location from this will be made from this ravine, caused from the spring or creek; fence row runs over the hill in a direction general from the spring coming toward the house north by west; up this some 18 panels, then from this fence toward the west by south some 40 rods; locate here.

7. As to the "Walker acreage, which is of the larger tract some very good acreage in this. Those of the north and west tract, though fairly good showing, is not as good as toward the center and south east portions of this district.

8. (Q) Is there any oil on the Luther Walker tract of 196 acres, Mr. Cayce? (A) There is some, but not as good as some of the rest of them.

9. (Q) Is there any oil on the J. B. Atkinson place, Mr. Cayce? (A) Yes, we find some here. 1400 to 1600 Ft. but not as large a pool as we have located from the central. Follow the outline as we have given her if you would locate oil.

10. (Q) Is there any oil on the Galbreath and Green land, Mr. Cayce? (A) Those lying to the south and east of this plot, that is, from the Wynne property.

11. (Q) Is there any oil on the Underwood, Myers and Bradley properties, Mr. Cayce? (A) We have given the outline here. Look on the map. Do as we have given here if you want the oil.
