1. EC: Yes, here we have it here.
2. (Q) Give us the formation on this well on the T. H. Elliott farm, Mr. Cayce, and tell us if there is any oil to be had, and at what depth. (A) These are the formations as we see them here: down some 35 ft. of earth there is some shale of very poor formation or character, some gravel and limestone, and there is some water. Water also comes in at 103 ft. This is the hole we are now going down; there is some casing in the hole; we are giving the formation as we see it here. There is some sand with gravel, with a whiter clay formation, then darker, coarser heavier sand with redder slate formations and a fair to good show of shale showing some water with some streaks of oil around 1000 ft; this is from the top down. Further we find a heavier rock formation of lime and some sand and gravel again. Around 1800 ft. fairly good showing of water; then sand without much water; more gravel and shale; some heavier, deader sands; then again two lime formations around 2000 to 2100 ft. which at 2180 to 2190 ft. change to more loose lime with whiter formations, yet flecked, that is it has small particles, of heavier and blacker, from the oil sands.
Now at the depth it has been drilled it is white, not flecked with black from the oil, that is around 2200 ft. where it has been drilled. We find we would reach oil bearing sands if drilled on less than 300 ft. deeper, making 2476 to 2490 ft. which should be produced if shot are in the proper formation and water is taken care of along these places; that is some water that has not been taken care of; and at which place it will produce from 270 to 300 barrels a day. We have territory here in which there is oil, and at 2470 to 2490 we have oil bearing sands if handled properly.
3. (Q) How much shot would produce this oil, Mr. Cayce? (A) How much shot would produce this depends on how it is handled below; it is a ten squib shot, but do not tamper shot with water, it all depends on how the hole is handled.

Follow this as we have given here and we will produce oil, as there is much in this district; but it is rather a hard location.
