Time of Reading 4:30 P. M.

1. FEM: Now, Mr. Cayce, you are going to sleep. Now, Mr. Cayce, you are asleep, and all of the organs of your body will function properly; you will hear me and answer all of my questions. You have before you the body of Miss [4147], who is present in this room. Now Mr. Cayce, tell me the physical and mental ailments that you find within this body that you have before you; also tell me what can be done for the nervous condition of this body - Miss [4147]. She is present.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Now the abnormal conditions as we have in this body - Miss [4147] we are speaking of - have to do with the action of the nervous systems, and the co-ordination, or lack of co-ordination, being the abnormal condition, between the nervous systems, and the specific condition, and the causes producing this condition, which lies in the system - see? FEM: Yes sir.

3. Now these are conditions as we find in this body: In the blood, or in the circulation we find that show of bacilli produced by the taxation of muscular forces within portions of the body, causing certain poisons that produce the bacilli, in this case being that of streptococcus, being produced within the system - see? FEM: Yes sir.

4. In the attempt of the circulation to eliminate these through the proper channels, the body has become beset with the condition existing between the nervous system on account of the attack of the leukocytes on the nerve ganglia governing the locomotory sensories, that is the nerve center governing the nerve forces that lead directly to the locomotory centers, those in the extremities and those in the body itself as well - see? FEM: Yes sir.

5. Through the nerve system we find this condition: The

brain forces, or the cerebrospinal nerve center in the cranium here is good, yet the action of of the forces have remained, affected these sympathetically, and produced the non-activity of certain cellular forces through the sensory system, for the wrong impressions are carried then to the center itself, so that we produce hallucinations, as it were, to certain centers at times; that is, the mind becomes inactive to centralize or localize on definite objects or plans, or definite aims for the physical forces in the body, - see. FEM: Yes sir.

6. The co-ordination between the sympathetic nervous system and the cerebrospinal nervous system does not co-ordinate at the sensor junction or at the main junction of the sensory nervous system, which is at the solar plexus center, here, or where the junction and ganglions are between the sympathetic nervous forces - of which there are two, you see.

7. And the cerebrospinal forces at the ganglia of the 8th, 9th and 10th dorsal vertebrae. The action of the circulation on these nerve centers produces the ataxia that presents itself to the action of the locomotories - that is, the locomotory nerve centers, not those only in the lower limbs, but those to the action of the arms, head, and all of the forces of the body - see? FEM: Yes sir.

8. The functioning of the organs themselves are very good when we consider the condition existing in the body. The lymphatic and emunctory circulation show the effect of the bacilli carried in the system in the cuticle, and in the way the circulation throws off through these channels. That is, not all of the secretions that should be eliminated from the system through the liver and kidneys are thrown through those channels from the system but much comes to the surface to be eliminated through the emunctory and capillary circulation - see? FEM: Yes sir.

9. That is, the body with little excitement or little nervous tension becomes, as it were, with perspiration all over the body, all the pores of the skin become excited through the action of the forces; all of the forces taking up just the same condition as exist, not proper co-ordination between the nervous systems, the seat of which is at the 8th, 9th and 10th dorsal - see.

FEM: Yes sir.

10. To bring the body to its normal condition, to eliminate the conditions within the body, we would do this: It will be necessary for applications from exterior forces rather than for medicinal perhaps taken into the system. It will be necessary to carry out through the emunctories and through the lymphatics those poisons that affect the system, and to give the proper vibration to all of the nerve centers, and that will bring the proper equilibrium or proper incentive from all nerve centers to function in their proper form - see? FEM: Yes sir.

11. We would apply to this body heat, steam forces, or sweats to the body - see? FEM: Yes sir.

12. To eliminate through all of the channels - see? FEM: Yes sir.

13. After these have been applied each day - see? FEM: Yes sir.

14. Beginning with small or short length of time, gradually increase them. While it will decrease the body in its fats, the body must drink plenty of water to have plenty to be eliminated through the sweats - see. FEM: Yes sir.

15. Gradually increase the length of time of the sweats. This should be kept up for three to five weeks - see? FEM: Yes sir.

16. Each day gradually increasing the time until an hour can be the space that the body can be sweated, you see. FEM: Yes sir.

17. Then apply electrical forces along the whole length of the spine, with the vibratory electrical forces - see? FEM: Yes sir.

18. Or those that we have that we find in the ultra-violet ray, which carries very high voltage and very high cycles - see? FEM: Yes sir.

19. Do this. We will find we will bring this body here -

4147-1 Page 4

Miss [4147] - to its normal condition within six to eight months - see? FEM: Yes sir.

20. Do that.

21. (Q) Mr. Cayce, will there be any medicine needed at all for Miss [4147] to take during this time? (A) We have given those things, potentialities, necessary to bring the equilibrium to this body here, or Miss [4147]. Do these as we have given, and as we have given them, if we would have the body in its normal condition, to give its best through both physical, mental and spiritual forces. We are through.

22. Now, Mr. Cayce, you will forget all about this reading that you have given. You were feeling fine and all right, and all of the organs of your body will function properly. You are feeling good. Now wake up in two minutes just feeling fine and all right. and all right.
