Time of Reading 5:30 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City.

1. GC: You will give a physical and mental reading for this body, with suggestions for the improvement of either or both of these, and you will answer the questions regarding same that I will ask you.

2. EC: Yes, we have the body and the mental forces here, of Rabbi [4159]. This we have had here before. [No record of earlier reading. See 4159-2, Par. B1 for background correspondence referring to a reading yrs. ago pertaining to marriage of [4159] and [459]. See also note under 459-1, Par B2.]

3. Now, in the physical forces of the body - this we find very, very, good in many ways and manners. There are rather those conditions of which the body should be warned as respecting the physical body, for the body should ever keep the physical in that way and manner that the mental, the spiritual, the service AS the rabbi, may the better function through the physical forces, for the physical is to many the presentation of that the spiritual and the service would magnify.

4. In the physical warnings, then - that of the tendency of the digestive system to show too much clogging, and the acid condition that arises at times. This, as we see, in one balanced as this system, tends to clog the system with impurities, and the mental, the physical, and the whole forces as manifest from same are disabled in this manner. The tendency towards too much blood will occur from this condition, as will be seen also that condition that irritates at times, from the too full mucus coatings as are seen from the larynx, the throat, the nasal channels.

5. The manner to overcome these is to set self as to those physical exercises that use much of the physical PHYSICAL energy, and thus keep the body physically fit. Not overloading the system at times with too much foods. This also tends to produce this undue condition as arises in the physical. This may be handled best by the entity through the action of will's forces, both as to meats and to drinks, for any of those conditions that produce too much opulency,

through the production of improper conditions in the system, cause the reaction as has been given.

6. In the mental forces of the entity - these we find are much changed since we have had these before. The broadening, the developing of the vision of the entity has gone steadily on. The entity should NEVER, however, get too high and exalted opinion of the entity's own theories for service, nor of individual service of others to the entity, for the greater debt of the rabbi, as rabbi, is service to others. Giving others their opinions - for each entity is developed by being led and being taught by precept and example, and each must stand on its own merits, rather than that of a physical energy as is seen by an ideal from another - for there is ONE ideal - that to make the Creative Energy - and called by many names - the Creative Energy, then, the ideal, and to make the mind, the body mind, the heart mind, the active force in the life for OTHERS and for self, for the greater service to that Energy, or to God, is SERVICE to the fellow man - and in that way and manner the entity, Rabbi [4159] will find the greater success, for with service FOR others, those of the divine becomes the NATURAL heritage - and, as has been given, the highest in EVERY ELEMENT MAY BE THAT SERVANT'S SERVANT, will the servant but serve the Higher Energy. Ready for questions.

7. (Q) What should his attitude be towards Temple ..., situated at ..., N.Y., N.Y? (A) In this, as has been given, is as a step toward that which may be accomplished by this entity, would the ENTITY but pay that price within self, and in self's position of presenting self in that attitude as of one desiring to serve, rather than be served. Then the attitude that the entity should have toward that people, as represented in that body worshiping in that temple, would be that as has been given in counsel to the entity from many - yea three - who would be served by this body, this entity - for, as has been seen, these think well of the ABILITIES. Some do not think so well of the entity's application of abilities, as is seen in the attitude of one that has much to say or do towards such an appointment or election, see - vice-president.

8. (Q) What chances has he to make good and be elected - give suggestions. (A) Chances? Every chance, if he would but apply self in the way and manner as has been given, for thought well of by many of the Board. The applications as have been set through the letters as written - well and good. The impressions as have been made to the greater number - good.

4159-1 Page 3

The impressions, the opinion, the feeling of fatherly and brotherly love and counsel from the Senior Rabbi - well. The application, then, of the entity's abilities, of the entity's intent, of purpose, of position, of use that the entity may make of self in service - in that lies that as to whether the entity would serve here or elsewhere.

9. (Q) What does Rabbi [...] the Senior Rabbi, think of his ability as Rabbi? (A) As given, well.

10. (Q) Should he go before the Board of Temple ... or will the letter written to Mr. [...] be sufficient? (A) When asked - for, as the letter as has been written, this will set conditions in that where the entity, [4159] may obtain - would the entity present self blameless, and of that as has been given - presenting the body as the living temple, for the body IS the living temple, and the sacrifice is the reasonable service for those who would present His ways and make His paths straight.

11. (Q) What advice can you give to the body to be popular with all associated? (A) It is not that the entity should make self popular with the people - rather make self popular with God, through service to God's children, or to the men whom entity would serve.

12. (Q) What does the vice-president think of Rabbi [4159]'s ability as Rabbi? (A) Not so well. Feels he is too much stuck up - thinks too much of self.

13. (Q) If he gets the pulpit, will he be successful? (A) Would he make his own paths straight, and present in that way and manner as has been given. Do that, for through these channels much good may be given, and many of the truths as have been set, and as may be set by the entity, will come from service in this place.

14. We are through for the present.
