Time of Reading 10:20 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.J.

1. GC: You will have before you the bodies and the enquiring minds of [4159] and [459], in ... Ave., ..., N.J., and the home relations and their relations to each other. You will give each of these bodies any suggestions in a physical and mental manner that would help at this time. You will answer the questions which I will ask you regarding these.

2. EC: Yes, we have the bodies, the physical and mental relations that have existed and do exist respecting these individuals, and their mental abilities. These we have had here before. Many conditions of varied natures have arisen, as would be natural in the changed conditions in the affairs of each. Many changes have also arisen in the mental affairs and mental abilities of each of these.

3. In that of [4159], these - we find - are much bettered in many respects; yet there are still many varying conditions that exist in the mental attitude of each respecting the proper correlating of ideas and ideals in the social and physical relations of the bodies of each in physical and mental attitudes. These as bettered conditions may be given, and these - adhered to - would bring bettered relations for each of these.

4. As relations exist in the present time, there are those ties and those dependent ones that must not be forgotten, no matter WHAT the attitude of one or the other may be; for these are morally, mentally, physically (and will be held spiritually) accountable for that environmental condition through which these lives are moulded. These cannot, then, be neglected - no matter what an INDIVIDUAL idea of personal conditions may cause to arise. These must be first and paramount in the ideas, ideals and relations, of each.

5. Each must, then, be more tolerable; and more consistent in that which one would have others believe and that which one believes his or her self! Are these compatible? No. Not in the lives of either of these individuals! Then, when there is the attempt to put on a front or an appearance of that which one would have OTHERS to believe, and the lives

4159-2 Page 2

of each are not compatible with same, there may not be expected a result in the daily filial or marital relations that will be in keeping with that which will BUILD COMPATIBILITY, much less pleasantness or happiness in the lives of either!

6. These then must approach (not one, BOTH) that correct attitude of the spiritual life, that the mental and physical results of spiritual meditation may bring that which is desirable in a compatible home life, a consistent life, in the way of presenting every form of relationship to home, friend, or those dependent upon these for SPIRITUAL welfare, or spiritual understanding; for without the correct spiritual foundation there may not come the proper mental meditation, nor the physical act in the life of either to bring those relations that are in keeping with those vows taken by each, whether of marital, social, spiritual, or even PENAL affiliation in the relations of each!

7. These, then, may ONLY approach same through these channels. NOT one; BOTH! Ready for questions.

8. (Q) At time of their marriage you gave that it would take [459] some ten years to bring [4159] up to her ideal. What is lacking in order to make him that ideal? (A) There has been as much change in the IDEAL of [459] in the seven and a half years, as there has been growth in the life of [4159]. This change continuing, will they ever reach a point? Answer from those conditions that are compatible in the lives of each. There will be seen that the life that is of the self-centered and self-important - in a relation where the wife is the one in mind, flesh, and one in union, the growth is towards the compatibility and NOT towards that of INCOMPREHENSIBILITY - as is so often set forth in the acts of each!

9. (Q) Give any suggestions in way of directing [4159] so that he will be all that she would like him to be - especially about irritations. (A) Both first must approach that position of the spiritual understanding. If there cannot be found the proper spiritual understanding - a sad lot for each!

10. (Q) Does [4159] measure up to his ideal? Does she lack anything? (A) Spiritual understanding!

11. (Q) Would [4159] be happier if the wife's family came to live with them and share his home? (A) No!

12. (Q) Would it relive him financially? (A) Yes!

13. (Q) What is [4159]'s attitude toward this? (A) At times the desire seems to be expressed; yet the

4159-2 Page 3

innate knowledge that this would not make compatibility is ever present.

14. (Q) What is his attitude toward his mother-in-law? (A) That has oft been given. That of the respect; and it has grown with the knowledge of the understanding that is often seen in those relations.

15. (Q) Will [4159] have a big future if he remains in ...? What about his career? Would law be better? (A) This has often been approached; and it HAS NOT changed! Give that, and act that, would the life be made one of service, rather than of thought of the social or financial success. Let these be the result, NOT the end!

16. (Q) Should [459] continue her professional work? (A) One CANNOT serve two masters!

17. (Q) Will [4159] repeat the happening of Saturday A.M. June 31st ever again? Did he mean it? (A) That would be a sorry man, that was egged on to conditions that make one lose control of self. Repeat not those conditions that bring such about! and there would not be the repeating of the conditions! for he that has NOT a temper isn't much man OR woman. He that cannot CONTROL same is LESS of a man or woman!

18. We are through.
