1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, Mrs. [4164]. Now, we find there are many conditions that disturb the physical functioning of the body. The greater portion of these may be termed as arising from some indiscretions of the body as relating to preventions taken for varying conditions in the system, that have affected the muco-membranes' activity in various portions of the system as to make the walls of the portions of the system - whether in the arterial circulation, in those portions of the nerve plasm centers - to produce thinness in their body itself. (Let's understand the condition here). Debilitation, then, is the cause; and the resultant conditions are the after effects of such disturbance and are many and varied in their effect upon the body.

2. As we find, these taken in time may be eradicated, eliminated, and the condition overcome. This, as we find, will require a little time (as is called time), some patience and persistence on the part of the body, but the results of such an undertaking would be most satisfactory as to the results this would bring for the functioning of the organism.

3. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body:

4. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY - We find this is materially lacking in the vitamins as necessary to produce the proper coagulation in the system, especially in that as produce that called stamen [stamina?], or the leukocyte stamen in the white blood supply. Hence we will find by the testing that there is quite a variation in the white and red blood supply in this body, if it is taken for a period of eight to ten days, dependent upon the activities and upon the diet of the body as to how great the variation would be.

5. IN THE NERVE FORCES - We find also that same lack, as is

4164-1 Page 2

indicated in the glands that produce not only those of a plethora, where thinned walls has allowed an accumulation of fluid that should flow on through normally (as indicated in the neck, as indicated in the region of the lacteals, as indicated in some portions of the groin and along the veins in the middle portion of the thigh) - these are not so prominent, or do not cause so much worry in the present, but are indications of that condition which has allowed that as may be termed a thinning of muscular forces to such an extent as to allow these conditions to become apparent. Much as in a similar manner may be seen at times in individuals (and this has occurred for this body, to some extent) thinning of the muscular forces in the abdominal regions, as to produce a form of hernia; not so prominent here for this body at present, but these indications have been from time to time.

6. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES - As we find, these show the effect of a form of what may be literally said to be starvation to their necessary elements for normal functioning. Hence we find these conditions exist at various periods when there is the cycle of functioning of the organ involved to produce the necessary elements, either for eliminations or assimilations, or to assist in the functioning of those that would produce elements for the sustenance and propagation of elements within the body itself: Dull headaches at times, with the eyes and ears giving particular accentuations of either noises of fullness, dimness of vision, or pain; peculiar metal taste at times in the palate or mouth; at other times the attempting to belch after foods are taken, especially those that are of a starchy nature - that becomes, as it were, rather disagreeable to the body at times; heaviness in the feet, the lower limbs, pains at times - or rumbling, as it were - of the intestines; the draggy feeling as comes for the circulation to the extremities, as indicated by those conditions when either by the lack of circulation or by cold or heat, which is as if the finger points are as dead, turning white, or the nail turning dark and the rest of the finger or hand, or wrist, showing as of no circulation. These are as of indications where, through various portions of the system, there is an attempting to adjust themselves to the impoverishment, or to this form of anemia that has impoverished portions of the body, and must produce - as through its various activities in the system, centers where the body attempting to adjust itself - those forms of lesions, and unless some changes come about must eventually make those forms of adhesions, or tissue becoming involved

as to thicken, and other portions becoming lax, and forms of plethora - as in neck, as in thigh, as in the side - become prominent, and effective to the system.

7. In meeting, then, the needs of these conditions, as we would find:

8. While those applications as have been made might be effective for the body, these are not of that nature as to be the MOST effective for the body. The VIOLET ray would be rather better than the X-Ray, but the LIGHT rays that will be the MOST effective will be the Infra RED ray! This would be more effective for the body, but should be APPLIED with those manipulations (as we would give, osteopathically given) that will stimulate, relax AND stimulate at the same time, the portions along the cerebrospinal center, as to CAUSE the activities to become more uniform in the system - see? These we would give in the beginning at least three times each week, and at least two of these treatments given each week should be preferably rather DEEP, especially in the brachial centers, the upper cervical centers, and in the lumbar and sacral plexus.

9. Then the diet: We would take rather those that carry more of the vitamins as of D - A, B, C and D, but especially in D. As those:

10. White's Cod Liver Oil tablets should follow each meal. These should be preferably as the character of the meals, though they may be changed or altered to meet the taste of the body:

11. Mornings - either cocoa as a drink, or a MALTED drink; followed with - a little bit later, half to three-quarters of an hour - citrous fruits, with rice cakes, whole wheat muffins, or a little honey (in the honeycomb) with same at times.

12. Noon meals - preferably meat JUICES (this doesn't mean broths, altogether), the JUICES of meats, occasionally mixed with the juices of FRESH green vegetables.

13. Evenings - a well BALANCED diet, occasionally using the diet that is more blood building in its nature. Plenty of oysters that carry the greater part of iron, and as little of copper or manganese as possible. Also all those foods carrying the BLOOD building properties, as of calves' liver - especially; pig knuckle and tripe. These should be a portion of the diet at most periods, though altered occasionally. Beware of too much sweets.

14. Keep the eliminations in the alimentary canal well active. Do not allow the liver or the kidneys to become over active without keeping an even balance in same.

15. For those portions where there are those effects of

4164-1 Page 4

these conditions existent, we would not make applications of the X-Ray in their activity, but rather mix with the formula called Iodex, as follows:

16. To one ounce of Iodex add one grain of animated or activated ash, or carbon ash. Use this, thoroughly mixed. One-eighth grain of the ash to every quarter ounce of the Iodex, or to an ounce of the Iodex add one grain of the ash. THOROUGHLY mix and massage GENTLY over that portion.

17. We would also take, once each week, one-eighth grain of the ash internally. Take this (in the powder form, LOOSE from the capsule - put the powder on tongue and wash down with water) TWO HOURS before the Infra Red ray is given.

18. The Infra Red treatment should be given with the middle treatment of the manipulation during the week, or when the more gentle treatment is given. The rays should be at least thirty-eight to forty inches from the body - the Infra Red; that is, the strong light, see? and given for twenty to thirty minutes treatment. Ready for questions.

19. (Q) Why is it hard for me to concentrate, to remember names? (A) Remember what's all the troubles, and you will not wonder! The system is attempting to use every facility, or faculty, to meet the needs of a body physically and mentally to prevent a GENERAL breakdown! The stamen in that as called the white or gray matter in nerve tissue is being used up, as stamen in the nerve building forces in portions of the system, especially in plexus or ganglia. Hence that that must be warned against is of these ganglia becoming atrophied, or over active, and thus producing centers that make for a cutting off of activity in the system to portions of the body. Do as we have outlined. Then in thirty to thirty-six days after treatments are begun, we would give further instructions for this body.
