1. EC: We have the body, the enquiring mind, [4167].
2. Now, as respecting dreams and their relations with the physical mind and the action of the body respecting same, the entity - the body - should first gain that proper conception of that that takes place in vision or in dream; for there are variations in that seen or experienced while in the subconscious or in the sleeping state by the body. There are those that are of the purely physical nature - the reaction of properties taken in the system when digestion is not in keeping with assimilations, and then one experiences those conditions that may be called nightmares. Then there is the mental condition of the body wherein worry, trouble, or any unusual action of the mind - mentally - physically - [causes] seeking for the way and manner of understanding. This may bring either the action of the subconscious with the mental abilities of the body, or it may bring wholly correlations of material sensuous conditions. These may appear in the form of visions that are in a manner the key to the situations, or they may appear in conditions as warnings, taking on conditions that are as illustrations or experiences. Then there is the action of the purely subconscious forces, giving as lessons to the body out of its own experiences. These are phenomena, or experiences for a body to use, to apply, in its everyday walk of life, just as experiences of the mental condition of body may bring the better understanding of conditions to the whole body.
3. In this particular body we find one seeking a way, a manner, of knowing or understanding how conditions may be met in the purely material side of life. Not that the body is wholly material, or materialistic. The body rather is one that [who] may be called iconoclastic; not materialistic; not spiritualistic; not mentalistic. One that seeks, but must be shown in the coin of the realm, whether position, power, money, conditions or what.
4. In this particular experience, then, the body must

approach this with the correct purpose, would same be given in the way and manner that would be understood by the body. While this may be explained, or unraveled - as it were - for the consciousness of the entity, the whole reaction must be SOLELY within self, would the body be able to apply that gained through the experience, for remember, these are as illustrations only, and not means of an escape, but that one may have an understanding of how to apply in self that that self already has in hand, to the betterment of self in the spiritual sense FIRST, and the MATERIAL sense as an outgrowth of DOING that known. Understand that! Ready for dream.
5. (Q) About two or three weeks ago. I was thinking and worrying over many financial difficulties I then faced and which problems, trials and tribulations will confront me. Then my Uncle Herbert appeared to me in vision (Herbert is dead, as we call it), and we walked together along the Virginia Beach road. We came to the Cavalier Hotel and saw a sign outside that read K. C. My Uncle Herbert encouraged me to go in, but I said that as Jews [we] would not be welcome, and besides we were in bathing suits and thus improperly dressed. My uncle answered in his usual jovial manner: "Let us go inside. Maybe we'll sell them some milk." We went in and it was Cayce's home we entered. Feeling my Uncle Herbert directed me in this communication to Cayce as a channel through which I would get aid, I now turn as directed for interpretation, aid and guidance to this source in physical, spiritual, mental and financial matters. I ask please that this be given me. (A) This has been given, as seen - that, would the entity approach through these sources, there must first be the purging, preparation, consecration of self, to prepare self for that which it may receive, or may accomplish by the APPLYING of same, and, as indicated in that seen by the entity reasoning as within self respecting position and characteristics of racial differences, and as that seen, which the uncle - seeing, knowing, the larger vision, sees that it is necessary that the body, the self, [4167], begin with that as of milk to babes for understanding. For correct was it given, that when as a child we thought as a child - "When I became a man I put away childish things." When one is sick or weak, milk for the body - but one in strength, meats may be given. These, then, are as CONDITIONS in the mental development of the body.

In those conditions now that confront the body as respecting the relations between individuals as are associated with the entity in the business - the business [is] a GOOD business - the business [is] one that may be made to bring that sufficient remuneration from the efforts of the body, with those that are associated with the body in same, and the body should then apply self in that way and manner, giving and taking that necessary for the CORRECT development of each as respecting each and every association, and out of same will come, will grow, that THROUGH WHICH the body may accomplish much.
6. Ready for questions.
7. (Q) Regarding financial aid, should I enter into a partnership agreement with Benjamin [...] in an insurance and real estate business to be run in conjunction with my present business and to be located in the state of New Jersey? (A) Very good. Good association - and approached in the proper way and manner BRINGS the proper returns.
8. (Q) Would such an arrangement pay financially? (A) Just given it was good - could be made to pay financially.
9. (Q) Should I continue to make my office and to have business dealings with George [...]? (A) These are good - why change? Correct that that's lacking in each, through the proper consideration of the position that each occupies in that of the business, and in the errors that have been made heretofore. The same errors may be made unless same are corrected now, in each.
10. (Q) Is my present business one that will enable me to meet such obligations as must be met financially in marriage? (A) To be sure.
11. (Q) Is time and effort I am expending on [...] Bros. account going to pay financially? (A) Not so good. This, as we see, is begun in an improper way and manner. The purpose, the intent, [is] NOT set in proper order by either approach; yet this may be turned, by proper CONSIDERATION of each of the elements represented in the favors shown from both angles, and be made mutually beneficial to both.
12. (Q) Is so, how can I make pay to that extent? (A) As given.
13. (Q) When may I be successful enough financially to marry? (A) When the body has set self aright. In setting self aright means in EVERY sense of the word! Find self. Understand self. Understand self's relations with individuals as individuals, with groups as groups, with life as it IS - not as it would LIKE to be - not as of any ONE

phase, but separating self, analyze self, reason with self, but know it is one whole. Do that.
14. We are through.
