1. EC: Yes, we have the body here.
2. Now in this body here, [4168] we are speaking of, we find there are some abnormal conditions that may be corrected throughout this system.
3. There are many conditions in this system that to some bodies would be abnormal that to this body are the normal conditions of the body.
4. We find the abnormal conditions that are to be corrected have to do with the circulation, especially that along the lower limbs, where the circulation becomes clogged at times in its action; so that the supply of the lymph and structure to assist the ends of joints (such as the knees and feet) at times causes the body much trouble. This action of the circulation is produced by the thinning of the walls of some of the functioning blood vessels and carriers in the system, that is along this portion of the body. While through the trunk portion of the body we find the body in fair good condition, yet much of the trouble should be remedied through this portion of the body which would deflect and cause a different flow of blood in the body. Now the blood forces itself, as we have it in the system, is very good. The number and character of the cells themselves supplying nutriment to the body is very good. There is at the present time some little bacilli being carried in the system, destroying much of the lymphatics cellular force that the units of the system should pick up instead of being absorbed in the body, so that cells to rebuild the walls of the arteries and veins in the lower extremities become taut.
5. The trouble in the lumbars, where deflected nerve energy has been so long, has assisted in the destruction of the cellular force through these portions, especially those having to do with the locomotories and their ends as they are connected through the brush end of the cerebrospinal cord. Hence the tired, worn feelings. This shows itself especially through the solar plexus center, so that the tired feeling gives off this expression in the form of faint weariness, rather than tired muscular force in the system.
6. To relieve this condition and to bring this portion of the body to a normal condition we would add that to the

system that would destroy this bacilli in the blood with manipulation of the muscles along the lumbars, sufficient to make an equal distribution of blood forces and supplies to the lower extremities; at the same time relaxing the centers, especially under the knees, so that the clots as found at times would come through the small channels by the relaxation of the muscular force governed by the nerves in this portion of the body. These are not varicose veins, but the veins are inhibited by clogging. At times the cording of portions of the limbs is detrimental, at other times it should be done. It should be done under the care of the person treating the body.
7. The properties that should be given as medicine would be found in those that we would make from the rag-weed, prepared; in this manner and form; to 6 oz. of water add 15 drams of weed, which should be used in its green state. It should be allowed to steep, not boil, 30 minutes, then strained and taken 1 teaspoon three times a day, morning, noon and evening, before meals.
8. If, or when this is followed we will find these conditions would reach these conditions in the body here, [4168]. Do that.
9. (Q) Shall these treatments be given osteopathically, Mr. Cayce? (A) This treatment should be given osteopathically. The relaxation should be in the lumbar and sacrum, with treatment along the limbs here only under the knees. It should be given every other day for some three to four weeks.
10. (Q) What is the cause of this trouble, Mr. Cayce? (A) Just the conditions as we have given it here in this body. Too much has been taken from the blood, so that the walls and veins have become thinned by this bacilli. Follow this out as we have given here and we will find relief for this body.
11. (Q) Should this body continue to use an electric vibrator, Mr. Cayce? (A) Only when the body needs it for rest. The osteopathic treatment should reach deeper than it has. The treatment given has not been the best. The treatment should be to remove the clots which have been formed and the lesions here in the lower lumbars and sacrum. Do that.
12. We are through.
