1. EC: We have the body, [4175]. In the physical forces we find there are disorders. These in some respects are of the specific nature. Some of the causes date far back. Some of the later causes have been misapplications for the physical corrections of disorders of the body. These, as we find, have to do with the circulation, the nerve supply, and the activities that are produced between these upon the organs of the body, as well as upon the functioning of other portions of the body that rely upon impulses for their activities, through the coordinating of nerve and muscular forces in the system.
2. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [4175] we are speaking of:
3. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this we find in some respects is very good. In others there is a hindrance in the circulation in portions of the body. This is shown by the intermittent pulsations that occur at times, and the acute conditions that result when there is the attempt of portions of the system to function under the duress of the consciousness through the involuntary forces of the body. Hence we see the indications of there having been a form of a clot, or impingement, in the circulatory system, as related to nerve impulse, as to break up coordination between the sympathetic and the cerebrospinal system; so that from those centers from which these radial axes come, where the impingements in the centers, where these having stopped in the cerebrospinal system, there is produced a paresis, or an impingement that prevents the activities of the right portion of the body; while had same been active in or through the medulla oblongata there would have been that of a more complete paresis for the body, or paralysis. This form in the present is rather a combination between those, as of a neurotic condition becoming acute, producing that of nephritis, or the activities of same - as is apparent for
4175-1 Page 2
the system in its activities. This neuritis brings those impingements to those minor nerves as apparent in the head, neck, shoulders, from an impingement existent in the 4th and 5th cervical, as well as in the lower portion of the brachial center, or 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th dorsal.
4. In the incipiency or beginning of this, we find there was a strain on the whole nervous system, where overtaxing of the body brought nerve exhaustion. Then a period when there were the effects of an intestinal flu, which produced those in the nerve system of the intestines, especially in those about the glands as make for assimilation - and the secretions as make for assimilation, the tightnesses, with the effect of there being much as would come from scar tissue or thickening (as it has produced) of those centers about the emunctory and lymph in this portion, in its attempt to produce an equalized condition in the assimilating system. This pressure, then, active in the nerve system, makes for - with the condition existent in the upper dorsal and cervical area, as indicated - that of a pressure. Then the breakdown, as it were, occurred some years ago.
5. With the application of those things as would dissolve the poisons and reduce the acids in the system, these only tend to act as sedatives to the system, and for the time produced a stimuli that induced the body to carry on against its own body's best interest, and this became then rather acute at times - especially when there was a clogging up of the eliminating system in any direction. Then there comes the recurrent attacks of acute pains from those centers wherein the pressure is produced to the head and to the locomotary system.
6. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, we find those that have become affected directly by this condition, and those that are sympathetically affected by the conditions. With the position, there has been an effect to the pulsation (and to the heart's action, naturally). This rather the sympathetic than that of an organic, or of a nature that would affect the organ - other than sympathetically, and where stimuli or those properties are given that would affect this system, irrespective of the other organs, this works and has worked - a hardship upon the body. Where there has been applied those properties either medicinally or externally, that would aid the nervous system to gain its equilibrium and to remove the pressures that do occur, or would occur from time to time, either from those engorgements or conditions of distress in the assimilating system, as directed to the sympathetic and
4175-1 Page 3
cerebrospinal system, these have aided the body. In the digestive system, this has been affected both ways. Sedatives for the activities has SMOOTHED, as it were, the walls of the assimilating system, or the lower portion of the stomach and the duodenum, so that at times little or nothing agrees with the body, or will be easily assimilated by the digestive system. Hence ALL of the system suffers under these periods, or these strains. At other times we find those rejections of the fluids in the system, or the over amount is secreted when there is activity, and we have a super-acidity, or a regurgitation, so that there is a recurrence of the pressures in the upper portion of the body, and immediately the eliminations through the alimentary canal are nil - UNLESS there is the addition of some properties to stimulate those activities of the muco-membranes through the eliminating channel. This drains the body, and makes for weakness and stress, and less ability of the body to function through the activities of locomotion through those portions affected. At times this works for and against eliminations in the hepatic circulation, or the kidneys and the bladder give distress - either too active, too frequent, or too little in their activity with the frequency, bringing the overburdening of the lower portion of the system.
7. These, as are indicated, are but the effects and the indications of the conditions that we find affecting the body.
8. Now, in part - as we find - these present applications would in part only be effective. These would relieve, after a long period, somewhat - but the rest would be more effective for a permanency, while others will be under strain and regain permanent almost unless corrections are made.
9. These, as we find, would be a manner in which these conditions might receive that impetus, that while for the first few days of such treatments we will find at times there will be as if it is the very thing, there will be those reactions when these are not so well. After a period of fifteen days we would find better results would occur from such treatments. As these:
10. First the manipulations osteopathically that will relieve the distresses without the necessity of a sedative, or an alkaloid, would be the better conditions for the system. In the first few days it would require at least two treatments a day, until these have adjusted themselves. The relaxing of the cerebrospinal, especially from the 9th dorsal to the base of the brain, with a saturated solution
4175-1 Page 4
of Epsom Salts (in packs), applied along the spine BEFORE the manipulations are given, will ease the body materially - and allow the manipulations to be more effective for the muscular forces, for the removal of the pressures in the segments along the upper dorsal and cervical area. These need not be applied unless there is the tautness. For the first few days, though, these would be necessary.
11. We will find that those abilities to use iodine that will assimilate, either by the non-poisonous as in Atomidine - or given in a low form of electrical vibration, will materially aid the content, or active content of the elementals, or elements of the body in the vibration as related to those that will REDUCE the plethora condition in the glands that are affected by this condition which arose from flu. This in the digestive area, see? We would take, then, a few drops of Atomidine each day, and use the vibration as of the Radio-Active Appliance that carries iodine in same - see? This we would apply, the first anode - through which the vibrations are to be for the system itself, see, carrying the iodine - attach first to the 2nd and 3rd cervical vertebrae. Attach the other anode to the umbilicus center, more to the right, or over the area that affects the lacteal glands. That's to the right of the umbilicus center, see? The activities of this will be through the thyroids to the digestive organs themselves, the effect of the iodine in its circulation or vibrations from same passing through same. This we would give each day also, but at the opposite end of the day from which the Atomidine - three drops in half a glass of water - is taken internally, see? If one is given in the morning, then give the other in the evening, see?
12. In the matter of the diet - that as makes for building of nerve impulses.
13. As for a sedative, use that as may come from the extracts of any of the nerve BUILDING forces - as Celerena, or extracts of celery, or beef extract - those things that will assimilate, or produce assimilation to the system, rather than negativating the active forces of the assimilating system.
14. Well that at least once a week there be given the high enemas, using in a gallon of lukewarm water a level teaspoonful of baking soda and half a teaspoonful of plain salt. This well dissolved before used as an injection. In the last water use about a tablespoonful or ALKALIN Petrolagar, stirred as thoroughly as may be kept for the use of same. This will keep down the toxins in the system, will make for assimilations for those activities of the kidneys
4175-1 Page 5
without producing a pressure on same; relieving these pressures in the system so as to allow the assimilating forces to build resistance - which is very lacking in the body.
15. Ready for questions.
16. (Q) Shall he continue or discontinue with the treatments he is now undergoing? (A) This, of course, must be determined by himself. These are as indicated. These would eventually aid in part. These, as we find, as we have outlined, were these followed consistently, will bring the body back to normalcy - and be rid of any of these obstructions; for as is seen from the type of that as is given - either in the manipulative forces or those that may be assimilated by the system - these will reduce those pressures, relieving the pains in the spinal column, relieving those pressures on the axes and the locomotary centers in such a way and manner as to give the resuscitation to the locomotaries, so that the use of the body will be in about a normal condition. Do these as we have outlined for at least twenty-eight treatments. Now, if they are sometimes twice a day - then we will find this will be in fifteen to twenty days. Then we would give further instructions.
17. (Q) Any advice regarding diet? (A) As is indicated, that which is NERVE building - and, as will be seen, and has been indicated, necessitates the changing from time to time; for at times little or nothing assimilates properly. It requires the meeting of the changes, as to whether the system is producing over acid or over alkalin, or regurgitating and producing bile back into the duodenum.
