1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, giving the cause of the abnormal conditions in the body, and the treatment for the relief and cure for this body. You will answer any questions I may ask you regarding this.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here. We have had this before, you see.
3. Now, we find there are many changes in the physical conditions of this body since last we had them. While there are some conditions present in the system that effects were shown when we had the body before, had those conditions as given been carried out we would have had a better physical condition at the present time. Well not to forget some of those as yet.
4. As to the specific conditions as existent in the body at the present time, these are rather the specific nature that need the present attention for the body. These relate principally to the metabolism of the system. That is, that unbalanced condition in the eliminations for the system, that causes distress to the organs of the body that are affected by the condition produced in the blood stream, through their passage (that is, the blood stream's passage) through these organs in this unbalanced condition. Hence this dull, tired feeling that comes to the body, yet may be overcome by some undue excitement, or some special conditions to be attended to, see? Yet, there is lapsing back to this condition when the relaxing of the body is seen, showing how the body strains self and the physical forces of the body in such reactions, for this is then carrying on through the vital forces that are overtaxed by such actions in the body. The distress, principally, is brought, then, to the mesenteric system and to the liver, with the effect on the whole of those centers governing the functioning of the trunk portion of body, causing then disarrangement, as it were, to all organs of the trunk portion. Some distresses in digestion; some distresses through the right and again through the left side; some

distresses through the action of the kidneys and the organs of the pelvis, see? These are reflexes from a condition existing, then, in that plexus of the hypogastric and pneumogastric, which is the seat of the change in blood stream through the system, drosses then being left being the condition as is seen.
5. To give the normal condition, then, for the body from this condition at present, follow much of those as were given in the first, see? and for the specific condition, we would take these properties in the system, those as will be found in this combination:
Podophyllum...................1/2 grain, Leptandrin......................1 grain, Sanguinaria.....................1 grain, Dover's Powders...............1/4 grain.
This would be one dose, see? These should be put in capsules, and one taken one evening, skip one day, the next taken the next, see, after skipping one day. Two should be sufficient. This is to give a full action on the intestinal tract, without producing the aggravating of the system to the extent as to produce an over excess of the secretion as would be thrown into the system from the lymphatics of the intestines.
6. Then, to bring the normal from this; that is, after taking these, we would take those exercises for the body as has been outlined, and at least three to six deep manipulations, osteopathically given, for the correction of those conditions in the intestine, and along the lower part of the dorsal and lumbar region.
7. Do that.
8. We are through with this reading.
