Time of Reading 3:45 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, Mrs. [4178]. Now, we find there are abnormal conditions in the body. These, as we find, in the greater part are incident to the age and to the conditions in the physical forces as related to hindrances as for the eliminations, hindered by CHANGES wrought in the system. Not necessarily, that this be an operative matter - will the body be able to have the DRAINAGES set up IN the system that ABSORPTIONS would take place, and that there be the change necessary through this setting up of eliminations, that coagulations do not take place to form cysts or those of the activity in tissue becoming, as it were, of a nature as to cause distraughtness in various portions of the system.

2. These, then, are conditions as we find them with this body, Mrs. [4178], we are speaking of:

3. The BLOOD SUPPLY shows the effect of these conditions that have existed in the system, through the changes that have been wrought in the system. These make for, as we find, an excess in portions of the body - excess in the portions as make for changes in the physical structural forces in the system, as through the lymphatic circulation - whether as related to throat, bronchials, lungs, nasal, or those portions of the body, or the organs of the torso - especially those in the pelvic and the false pelvis.

4. In the conditions in NERVOUS SYSTEM, these, as we find, have been under stress and strain for periods back - especially those in the lumbar and lower dorsal regions. These make for a heaviness through the side, through those of the lower portions of the body, and a fullness or excess of blood supply to the head; hot and cold flushes, cold feet, cold hands at times; clamminess following same, especially early of morning or during the night - or during the period of retirement, when there are those feelings as of - an inner and an outer circulation. The hepatic, or the deep circulation of the hepatics and of the central blood supply show for those taxations through the nerve forces of

4178-1 Page 2

the system, both in the sympathetic and the cerebrospinal.

5. In the FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, these conditions in the sensory forces show for accentuations, where distraughtness has shown for the filling up of those conditions in the organs of the sensory system; as also that fullness across the diaphragm region, and ESPECIALLY those in the false pelvis and in the right side. These, as we find, come from excesses of drosses in the system, with the system attempting to keep a balance, and those forms of coagulation producing the conditions as exist.

6. In meeting the needs, as we would find, there would be added IN the system - taken internally - those that will meet the needs of the blood supply, as well as acting with the nerves of the system - which would be supplied, as we find, in THIS - provided the rest of the vibrations or changes as we are giving is carried out. Do not take one without the other, for the cooperation of these with the applications to the system would make for the betterments in the conditions of the body:

7. To 4 ounces of simple syrup, add - in the order given - the following: Tincture of Valerian......................2 ounces, Elixir Calisaya.......................1 1/2 ounces, Solution Iodide of Potassium.............20 minims, Solution Bromide of Potassium............10 minims, Tincture of Stillingia..................1/2 ounce, Syrup of Rhubarb........................1/4 ounce, Tincture of Capsici.......................2 minims. The dose would be half a teaspoonful 3 or 4 times each day.

8. Begin first with a few minutes of a standard sweat cabinet bath; that is, from five to ten minutes - but heat the body WITH the bath - that is, as the cabinet is heated, but not over a temperature of a hundred and ten - this taken for five to ten minutes after the perspiration has begun well.

9. Following such a bath - that is, immediately as the body comes from the bath - have a thorough rubdown, with a full massage, OSTEOPATHICALLY given, to set up drainages in the system.

10. RELIEVE those pressures in the colon through colonic irrigations.

11. At least once each week for four to six weeks take the ultra-violet ray on days when the manipulations or massage are not given, and these may be given twice each week. Then, Tuesdays, Thursdays or Wednesdays take the

ultra-violet ray - see?

12. The diets would be as this:

13. Mornings - ONLY those of citrous fruit juices, and some stimuli as of a grain cereal, or grain DRINK rather than a cereal.

14. Noons - preferably green vegetables combined in a salad, which may be followed with broths of any character just so they do not have too many condiments in same - see?

15. Evenings - a well balanced meal, but don't eat too much! No stimuli - that is, of alcoholic content nor those of coffees or teas - but any of the milks may be taken, or a cereal drink. It would be very well for Coca-Cola to be taken at this period.

16. Keep this line of treatment for at least thirty to sixty days. We should have a normalcy for this body, [4178].

17. Ready for questions. We are through for the present. Copy to Mr. David Levy " " file
