1. GC: You will have before you the information given regarding Charles Augustus Lindbergh, Jr., on March 9, 1932. You will tell us if the body is still, today, March 13, 1932, at the same place as given, and will answer the questions submitted by those seeking this location, as I ask them.

2. EC: Yes, we have the information as has been given concerning the location of the body Charles Augustus Lindbergh, Jr. As we find, the body is still in the same location as given, in Cardova Section, New Haven, Conn. In the locating by those that are seeking same, we would find that were they to go out the street as located, on the opposite side of town, or place, this gives SOME idea of the character of the location being sought. Going north, then, on this street - Adam - there will be seen that in the northern portion there is that where the red clay or shale is. Here turn, going around these places that are indicated, toward the New Haven, or East Haven section. When they reach on this road - more road than street, in portions of same - they will find Scharter, as written on the stone where the street turns to the left, and three houses from the corner find the location. This is an area as has been and is indicated by the character of the products that have been and are made in this section - see? 473 the number. As seen, this indicated by glass that has been partially broken, and a portion removed. This may be seen from the street or roadway.

3. (Q) In the search made last night and his morning, were we near the house this morning? (A) In the area; some one, two streets away - or roads.

4. (Q) Did we go in right direction from hotel? (A) Part of the time were going in right direction. As given, follow these lines - see? First out Adams to where there is the red clay, shale, see? turn right; then follow same through its winding ways, as it goes in part - this is outer section, see, as given - and when there is seen on the left side the name Scharter - S C H A R T E R - partially, or the latter portion of the letters, besmeared or covered

with soil. Turn left - third house on the left side - see? Do that.

5. (Q) Is this area bounded on the west by West Rock Park, east by Beaver Pond Park, south by Whaley Avenue? (A) We will have to find all of these. (Pause) This is not exactly the same section. Follow these directions as we have given. THESE, as we find, are further to the west and not so near as would be following the lines or roads as given - see?

6. (Q) Is there a telephone in the house? (A) No.

7. (Q) Who owns the house? (A) We haven't the owner. This - apparently - owned by someone interested in the group.

8. (Q) Is license of car now at the house? (A) No car there, as we find!

9. (Q) Was man Kahn saw in basement of Hotel Taft the man referred to, as the grill was locked? (A) It was someone in the grill. Not the man.

10. (Q) As the Post Office does not know Cardova Section, how can letter reach Madge Beliance? (A) Addressed to Cordova Section, General Delivery, New Haven, Conn.

11. (Q) We have asked some of the oldest citizens regarding the Cordova Section suggested, and no one seems to know of same, or of any factory manufacturing leather goods. (A) These, as we find, are still there.

12. (Q) Has man arrested in New Haven by name of Meslo anything to do with the case? (A) An acquaintance, and one that knows something of the conditions; though not a party to, as yet - though may be used as one to indicate the locations.

13. (Q) Approximately how far is this location from the Hotel Taft? (A) Four and a half miles.

14. (Q) Can you give any other information that will assist Major Lamphier and Kahn in locating this? (A) If they will follow this, as we find, it should be easy.

15. (Q) How is the baby today? (A) Asleep.

16. (Q) Is it in good health? (A) Some little better.

17. (Q) Is it being properly cared for? (A) Sleeping at present. Pretty good care being taken, considering.
