1. LS: What causes depressed mental condition? You will give a diet, if any is necessary, that might be retained.

2. EC: Now we find with the abnormal conditions in this body, there are many various portions of the system affected, and the condition has to do with the circulation and its effect through certain centers upon the nerve system, and upon the organs direct, both through blood supply and nerve energy as needed or over supplied in the system. The condition is one of unequalized circulation, affecting the condition in nerve centers specifically.

3. Now, these are conditions as we find in this body.

4. First:

5. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, we find that not of the elements in blood flow itself so much affected as conditions produced in the blood supply by specific conditions in nerve centers causing taxation to portions of the body, as we have in the lower portion of brain, in the gastric center, in the hypogastric center, in the lacteal center, in the perineum center.

6. These, we find, produce the depression to activity of conscious force as received through the system in the lower portion of brain. Hence, the unconscious forces in the activity of the voluntary nerve force or muscular force of the body. In the hypogastric, pneumogastric, perineum centers that is affecting assimilation and gastric juices of stomach itself proper, forcing from the duodenum the juices as secreted by pancreas and duodenum through pyloric orifice into the stomach proper.

7. Hence the nausea as produced in the organ and the reflex from this through the cardiac plexus gives palpitation, or heavy quick breathing, gasping in the diaphragm and lungs, and the relaxing only of the body gives relief, but should not be done through over stimulation as has been given to the body.

8. In the effect as this produces in blood supply forces then to the centers is in the secondary cardiac plexus that

effect as is shown in the brain force proper, and the circulation as comes, or fails to come oftentimes, to the extremities. Hence inertia produced in this portion of the circulation.

9. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, in the nerve centers proper conditions existing as we have shown, and how it affects the circulation of blood supply proper. The centers then in nerve force we find along the 9th, 10th dorsals, the 7th and 6th dorsal, those congestions in centers attempting to produce equalization, and with this we find the fluid and secretions as should be given in the lower intestinal tract will and does give to the hepatic circulation this un-uniform action. Hence the organs of the pelvis as affected through the hypogastric have the action spasmodically, and affects the kidneys in this nerve center way.

10. IN THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, we find the brain forces, without the action of depression in blood supply from hypogastric, or pneumogastric perineum center, gives good effect or control over the body. Organs of the sensory system show the effects as have been produced in the system in times back. This hasn't anything to do with the condition to be met at present.

11. In the lungs very good.

12. The digestive tract non-action, except in the reverse way, as is given through the centers and in the action of juices from the pancreas and duodenum.

13. Liver inactive. In its excretory secretions over secretive flow through the action of the (the body is not feeling good right now) hepatic circulation. Hence the rise of pulsation and internal effect of temperature in the system.

14. R E L I E F, to give the best for this body, would be not through medicinal properties, but through that of equalizing of the system through contraction of centers, so the circulation through intestine, activity of the system through the duodenum, the liver and pancreas would be turned to empty the system, and by properties in the system to so give the incentive to the gastric juices as to equalize and neutralize conditions in the body. Small quantities then of lime water and elm water combined would be taken in the system, and the massage and manipulation of the cervical and dorsal region, with the diaphragm and gastric region manipulated to empty and to equalize circulation and assimilation in the body.

15. As for the diet, at present we had better equalize before we give anything in the system for the best for the

body.

16. Then, when this is taken, give those that will act with the system in keeping the gastric and hypogastric action in system working with that of the liver and pancreas.

17. Do that first.
