1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time. You will diagnose the case thoroughly, giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here. Now, we find there are many conditions that are very good. There are many abnormal conditions, and these have to do, principally, with the eliminations in the system, and the effect this produces on the body.
3. Now, these are conditions as we find them in this body, [4256] we are speaking of. First:
4. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, there we find that, in and under certain conditions as exist from time to time, the blood becomes overloaded with this dross, and in the blood it forms a toxin. This has been an existent condition in the body for times back. Hence the condition as was first produced in the capillary circulation, through abrasions and pimples that showed over portions of body, especially to those parts that are, or were, exposed. Hands, face, neck, chest and arms at times.
5. In the running or the continuation of this condition existent, without the proper eliminations being set up in the liver and kidneys, the recharging or reaction to the system set up inflammation in the intestines; first the lower portion of the small intestines. This then removed to the colon, through the same reason, through this condition. This being eliminated by the system being kept flushed, and an excess of the mucus secretions in the intestines, the condition not being removed (or seat of the trouble), came to the upper portion of the intestines, and to the stomach and duodenum. Hence, as we see, the VARIATION in how the blood becomes affected by the variation in the condition as becomes existent in this body.
6. IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, this - we find that, under stress and strain, those plexuses in the cerebrospinal nerve
4256-1 Page 2
system, especially those governing the digestive organs, through the nerve nutriment to same, became, as it were, exaggerated in their functioning, in attempting to supply sufficient of the incentive for the system to overcome or meet the needs of the condition. This brought on nerve depletion, and the strain became effective through pains in the head, low through the blood supplying in the pelvic organs, suppression of the normal functioning of the organs in the pelvis, and nausea, and pains through the right side of the body, along the track of the lacteal ducts, and to the organs in the pelvis, and nausea, and pains through the right side of the body, along the track of the lacteal ducts, and to the organs of the digestion, in intestines. In the reaction from this nerve condition, strain to the eyes, redness, and dimness to the vision. In the application of properties, and the administration of the adjustments and relaxing of the centers, this became subsided in a manner, yet the continuation of the inactivity of the emunctories, especially in liver, brought, and does bring still, this condition as existent in the stomach proper. Then, a nervous indigestion ensues.
7. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS OF THE BODY, brain forces very good.
8. Sensory organism - all of the organs in same under the nerve strain of this existent condition, both through the blood system and through the nerve system, and the strain on all of the organs in this condition gives the stress on the system.
9. Lungs show the EFFECT of the condition, though not organically deranged.
10. The throat, bronchials, larynx, often shows the effect of the ulcerations as are seen in the stomach proper, both in the upper and lower end of the stomach, especially in the upper end, or cardiac end; that in the pyloric end becoming more of a mass of conditions not acted upon, and hence the continual rolling together, as it were, of the walls of the stomach, and the tendency for nausea, and of depression throughout the whole system. Tendency to vomit, and to cause the whole system to become flushed. Tendency to scale over the face and over the hands, through the extremities, see?
11. In the stomach, proper, this, as we see, is that condition as has been given.
12. The liver very torpid in its action, save when there has been those properties administered that has, for the time being, caused the excitement to the mucus lining, or of the intestine, rather than enlivening the liver in its
4256-1 Page 3
functioning. With the over strain on the liver, and all of the hepatic circulation, naturally the kidneys come in for their part of the derangement - with the highly colored urine, and the pains at times across the small of the back.
13. The suppression of the functioning of the organs of the pelvis causes irritation throughout.
14. To overcome these conditions in this body would be to first correct those conditions in the eliminations, and then give the incentive in the blood stream to keep same clear, giving sufficient assistance, as it were, to the nerve centers, in a vibratory force, as to overcome or to produce an equilibrium throughout the system; for the resistance in the system may be builded to where this condition may be ENTIRELY eliminated.
15. In this condition, we find this one wherein little vegetable foods should be taken in the system. Rather those of the dried, or of cereals and fruits. Not of vegetable forces or matter.
16. In the applications of medicinal properties, these should be given:
17. Keep practically all the water as is taken (and the body should take plenty of same) with small quantities of elm in same. Well that this be kept, but never allowed to become sour, by giving small pinches of the powdered elm bark in glass of water with ice in same, see? Just enough to make the water taste of same, or slick, as it were.
18. Then there should be taken REGULARLY Yellow Saffron Tea. The combination of these, as we see, is to soothe and to lessen this irritation as is kept up through the intestine and through the stomach.
19. For the eliminations, begin with small doses of Senna - SENNA. Half a grain first. Let this be taken one each day for five days. Then increase the quantity to the full grain, and after this has been taken for five days, still increase again to the one and a quarter grain, see? Not allow the system to become over nauseated from same, but if it should, then cut it out, or leave it off, see?
20. Well that as much PURE olive oil be taken as the system will assimilate. This both as food value and as the healing for the mucus coating of the intestine and stomach, which have been so lacerated, and will of necessity have to be healed before these conditions can be overcome.
21. AT ONCE begin and apply the vibrations from the Radium Active Appliance - RADIUM Active Appliance, using the heavy vibrator, see? Use this across the small of the back in the day. In the evenings, for a few minutes, well that this be laid across the breast, or just below the breast, that the
4256-1 Page 4
inflammation, as is seen as is produced there from time to time, may be eliminated; or at times it may be laid for a few minutes across the throat, that the ducts and the glands in same may be stimulated - giving sufficient of the recharging for the pad, in the sunlight at least a few minutes each day, but wear this constantly, night and day, over some portion of the body.
22. Follow this in a consistent and persistent manner. We will eliminate these conditions from this body, see?
23. The diets, as is seen - not meats, but not great vegetables at the present, see? The soups or broths may be taken in MODERATION, but do not EVER overload the stomach. Won't be very apt to while the Senna is being taken, for it will produce nausea; but the liver must be aroused, but in the moderate way, until this is thoroughly eliminated, for this is that condition which has become termed (in name) pellagra. [GD's note: Her mother died with pellagra.]
24. We are through for the present.
