1. GC: You will go over this body carefully, examine it thoroughly, and tell me the conditions you find at the present time; giving the cause of the existing conditions, also the treatment for the cure and relief of this body.
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here.
3. Now we find there is a combination of conditions that produce destructive forces in the physical forces of this body; yet the combative elements in the system at times seem to meet the needs of conditions and the body feels bettered, yet - as seen - considered from ONE standpoint - we have purely that of a disarranged condition in glands, and from another viewpoint we have the the purely disarranged condition in the vibration as set up by the hepatic circulation. Hence the liver, the kidneys, and apparently an organic condition - or one builded within the system - appears. These are rather, then, results than causes; for, as we see, while the glands are involved - especially those of the pelvis or endoren [adrenals] - and while this causes disturbance, the emunctory and lymphatic circulation in their reaction from improper incentive or inception of force is the cause or basis of the conditions. Hence the results from these are conditions that cause distress in varied portions of the system at times, affecting not only the blood supply but the functioning of the organs themselves in their various cycles of attempted re-adjustment within a disturbed organism that labors under a heart condition - from the blood supply and organic condition in liver and kidneys, from disturbed condition in glands proper in the secretions as are thrown out by these in their functioning, and the depressions as exist in a general debilitated nerve system, and a debilitation of resistive forces in the body. While at times, as given, the system - asserting itself - apparently meets the needs. Again there appears many destructive forces in the body.
4. Now, to meet the needs of these conditions there first
4267-1 Page 2
must be builded a basis for which and from which the replenishing to the system of resistive forces may be kept in a way and manner that the system would be gradually rebuilded.
5. First, then, we will give those properties that will be as a stimul[us]; not to one portion alone; not that which will cause an excess of reaction in one portion of the body without reference to that as created by the properties as given in the system to change the vibratory forces of the supplying and also the incentive of the functioning of the organs, but one that must meet the needs of the varying conditions as exist in gland and in the hepatic circulation, or ESPECIALLY as exist regarding the emunctories and lymphatic circulation; for when these varied conditions arise and there is seen the change between the arterial and venous circulation, this existing condition as comes between these extremities - or the drosses as are left in extremities - causing excruciating pains at times to the ends of leaders, nerves, and of the tissue itself. Then again we have a plethora condition existent; too much of the lymph not returned in normal channels. Then when we have this we have reflex to the heart's action, and to the torso of the body itself proper.
6. Now, to meet these - first we would give as this, to be prepared as in this manner:
7. To one-half (1/2) gallon of rain water, add: Sarsaparilla Root...............1 ounce, Wild Cherry Bark..............1/2 ounce, Yellow Dock Root..............1/2 ounce, Burdock Root..................1/2 ounce, Black Snake Root..............1/4 ounce, Podophyllum.....................3 grains, Peruvian Bark.................1/4 ounce, Elder Flower....................2 ounces. Reduce by simmering (not boiling) to one (1) pint. Strain, and while warm add two (2) ounces of grain alcohol with one (1) dram Balsam of Tolu cut in it. Shake solution together before the dose is taken. The dose would be half (1/2) teaspoonful four (4) times each day.
8. Let the body remain quiet while these properties are being taken, except for SPECIFIC exercise of the body as would be given through manipulations - which should be applied for the system to assimilate that as given for medicinal properties or for food values for the digestive system, and the extremities - through the gentle massage -

must give that to the body that will give sufficient exercise for assimilation and eliminations to be kept up.
9. The diet should not be heavy, but rather that that will add the resistive forces for the blood supply, giving plenty of that that will respond in nerve reaction.
10. Do that for thirty days. Then we would give further corrections for this body.
11. The massage may be given either as the general manipulation, or the Swedish masseur, or the gentle osteopathic manipulation WITHOUT adjustments being attempted until corrections through the incentives of the organs themselves are in proper accord with better rebuilding forces in the body.
12. We are through for the present.
